I got a Fogo de Chao gift certificate for Christmas. I am going eat myself to death there. So delicious.
I was at school yesterday, the last day before winter break, around 7 AM. About a third of the student body was present at the time since we hadn't started for another half hour or so.
The principal comes on the system:
"Students and staff, this is your principal speaking. Please begin lockdown procedures immediately. Report to the nearest building and class room, lock the doors, turn off the lights, close the windows. Knock if the door is locked. This is not a drill."
Immediately texted my friends to stay away from school while jogging to the nearest room. Scared the
out of me, but fortunately it was just a tip sent in that the guy who shot someone in our neighborhood the night beforehand could have been near campus. Nobody hurt at all. Thank goodness.
