This New Year's Eve, I have decided to substitute alcohol with Taoist poetry.

I took pretty much the exact opposite decision. Substituting Zen Buddhistic poetry with alcohol.

That gets a huge thumbsup from me. I'm probably just going to end up being bored and going to sleep early. I'm still a bit jetlagged from being in Florida.

Pulling a surprise win from way, way behind at last night's Trivia Smackdown -- the first ever where we were playing for cash money.

Waking up just in time to head downstairs and start watching the Rose Parade. 20 minutes into it my high school marching band with my cousin in it marches by, so I don't have to sit and watch anymore! Yay!

I got my coffee grinder cleaned and set up that I got for Christmas.

Nothing beats drinking coffee that was just ground about 60 seconds ago.

I've recovered from New Years eve. In record time! And nobody's dead or in prison!

EDIT: nevermind, my cousin's in prison and my best friend's got pneumonia

We have a really good snow on here, and it's still going.

My high school batchmates and I went out tonight, which is great since we rarely get the time to hang out because we go to different colleges (some of us study far, far, far from home) and our schedules tend to vary greatly. We went to a dock in one of our friend's hometown and the view of the starry night sky, the BIG, round and corn yellow full moon, the food we ate(was my friend's birthday), the sea breeze and the sea itself was awesome! Too bad we didn't bring extra clothes with us so we couldn't take a swim in the cold water.

The sad thing is we have to wait for three months before we can do another thing like this again AND it basically marked the end of the Christmas break for us. I'll be away from home until March which means I can't join the usual Glom aetherhunts which tend to occur 2 - 9 am in my time zone. This is why I'm saying a big THANK YOU to everyone who was part of the aether crews I joined , level 92 (and hopefully 93 soon) has been the biggest gift I received in Lusternia (Ironbeard doesn't like giving arties to me , he's still awesome, though!) - the aetherhunt several hours ago involving Sidd's letter was a great and fun start to great day; the members of Wishes, Adiks, Serenwilde, Shadowdancers and Glomdoring for the 2009 Lusternian Experience - I look forward to a great 2010 Lusternian Experience with you guys, too!

Slightly belated, but I had a great New Year's Eve and I hope everyone else had just as much fun.

Yay I got a job. And not just any job, one that my three years of schooling came in handy for! Squee! Yay! Woo! Huzzah! Yippee!
