I just started that series the other day. Is that a good WTF or a bad WTF?

Cliffhanger. Epic book, but a cliffhanger at the end. Finished it in a solid seven hour stretch.

It's a very good series. Ending is a WTF cliffhanger but I have faith that Butcher won't ruin it. Corbenic made me read them all a while ago, if anyone remembers him.

It's a shame that "The Dresden Files" television series was canceled after only one season.

I'll have to check out the books after I finish with Children of Dune.

Edit: Speaking of Dune, Jedi don't hold a candle to Paul Atreides, Duncan Idaho, or Leto II.

By all accounts the TV series was pretty mangled, though. (Consequently I haven't watched it so I could be wrong.)

The TV series was mildly amusing but resembled the books only in the original premise, not all the stuff that builds from it.

My old job finally called me back. This means I'm going from 8.95 an hour, 40 hours a week to 14.40 an hour, 58+ hours a week. Wheee!!

If only I didn't have to move into a hotel for a month+ while I save up for my own place. No Lusternia for me

My advice has always been to watch the TV series FIRST, then read the books. It's a reasonably fun show, and it's not terrible as a standalone thing, but if you read the books, you'll never be able to stop muttering about unfaithful screenwriters.

I just watched the last episode of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

I am so epicified I can not even express it properly.

I just love Lusternia. That's my rave.

Row, row, fight da powah!

The movies have been available to watch for a while now, I recommend going and watching those too. If you think the last battle was pretty epic, the movie takes it up yet another notch.

The epic I reffered too was not so much the battles.

The battles are nothing compared to the whole philosophy espoused by the piece, I think.

All this talk of epic shows has me wanting to watch it as well. I'll take your word for it.

By all means, do it, you will not regret it.

Do be sure not to read any spoilers, though.

Oh my gosh, I KNOW. After I finished the last episode the first time, I was just like...YES THAT WAS AWESOME for about three hours haha. I'm so lame...but that show was so epic.

New computer, first laptop, too.

Not the greatest but better than my old desktop in terms of processor and whatnot, already getting used to the changes and the pad.

Mini rant: Decided to buy a mouse to go with it but it was one of those laser ones and they don't really work with me very well, bleh.

Tonight is Lady Gaga night on Glee!
