I love like every single thing off of Jay-Z's 'The Blueprint 3' album.

I'M IN LOVE. I started using Google's Chrome browser because it's supposed to be very secure, and also out of curiosity. So far, I really like the way its GUI and features operate... more than Firefox, I think.
But that's not why I'm in love. I'm in love because there's an extension (i.e., widget-type thing) for Chrome that displays the dictionary definition of any word on nearly any Web page simply by double-clicking the word. A little bubble pops up right there in the browser window.
Also, if I double-click "Lusternia" (for example), Chrome uses a Google search to find an explanation for the word, if possible.
This is the best thing... well, ever.

Funny you should mention Chrome, just read this the other day - http://thenextweb.com/google/2010/07/09/ha...romes-security/
But yeah, I use Chrome mainly myself, and it's great.

I'll have to be careful which extensions I choose to install, then. I usually take a minimalist approach to widget-type things, so I'm sure I'll be fine.

Had to buy new computer speakers. I'm used to an nice stereo connected, I suspected the sound would suck.
It doesn't!
Also, I did it myself! (not that it was difficult, but hey)
Ooo, and I was able to make Starcraft and Diablo II work on this computer again. The new video card works! they look horrible on such a big screen though

Option one: I'll bet some nerds have figured out a way to run StarCraft and Diablo II in a window, using a custom patch, a windower application, or something similar. That would look much better.
Option two: Check your graphics card configuration. Many cards allow you to change their settings so that low-res programs (like StarCraft) aren't stretched to fit in full-screen. You'll get a big black box around them, but they'll be crisp and sharp. (Not much different from running them in a window).
Option three: Acquire an older CRT monitor so you can get that old-school feeling. I do this myself. It's sad, I know.
I love older computer games, so I'm pretty familiar with this sort of thing.

I actually have an old monitor! It's connected to the old computer! Which is behind me. *peer* I'd rather use that that muck about with settings, cause seriously...pain. I hate mucking with settings, I just mess stuff up.

Old-school games actually look a whole lot better on lil' old CRT monitors (in my opinion), so that's probably the best choice.
I've been playing Master of Orion 2 on my old CRT monitor recently, and it takes me straight back to the mid-1990s.

I just switched from "Mother Night" to "Megalith Black".
This is downright swanky.

So, I logged off, feeling irritated and frustrated and disappointed with having my week of 'wonder what I'll find?' completely thwarted. I decided to go to Sonic for a diet coke with vanilla in it. I went out to my car, to go to Sonic and guess what?
I saw a hoppy toad! Hopping across the street and into the grass. Hop hop hopping!
It's like the universe just doesn't want me to be mad or upset! Cause it seems here lately, everytime I get to feeling pissy, the universe throws an adorable toad at me! And I just can't keep ahold of a bad mood in the face of a hoppy toad!

You were really unhappy because of the Diet Coke. Lime creamslushes or cherry-cranberry limeades are where you find happiness and enlightenment.

Sonic is the only place I can find diet coke with vanilla in it! When I lived in Texas, they sold it in stores alongside regular diet coke. But, here in Arkansas, they don't. So, when I get a hankerin for it, I gotta go to Sonic.

Champagne Supernova popped up on my shuffle.
I had forgotten how much I like this song. It's just incredibly relaxing. Soothing even.

My rave: having the most beautiful, sexy, awesome, and perfect girlfriend a guy or girl can possibly have. If I believed in a god, I would thank him/her daily for the greatest thing to ever happen to me.
Just a few more months, and she'll be right here with me.

Last night I discovered two of my cats doing the cat clicking thing when they want to hunt something at the door. On the other side of the screen door was a toad. This toad was just chilling three inches away on the other side of the door, just staring at the cats. It was funny to note it was essentially taunting the cats to come get it.
It was funny.
