This strawberry banana smoothie is really good, and I made it myself! Except I don't have a blender, so I used a food processor... Oh well, whatever works!

It's great! Even though I don't have a proper blender and have to be a food processor ninja I don't get to do it often, but when we actually have fresh fruit, I tend to get a little ridiculous with it, and make up new kinds of smoothies. Like right now I'm wondering if plum and licorice would be any good...

Getting a job interview finally has boosted my confidence a great deal, I've been in a bit of a slump the last week and not wanting to do anything. Feels much better now.

Aw shucks. But, licorice and plum doesn't sound too bad! It could be really good, you never know until you try! I tend to mess around with food a lot and figure out stuff that might taste good together. I guess you could call it a bit of a hobby.

Only reason I ask is because, the first time I tried absinthe, someone had just poured some absinthe into a cup and given it to me, and that's not cool. It was like someone was trying to kill me with a mixture of licorice and napalm.

We were sitting around a file passing bottles around until they were empty, then getting new ones. The espresso vodka was awesome, the pomegranate vodka was nasty, the absinthe wasn't bad if you like licorice. The second bottle of espresso vodka was back to being good, then we just killed his kegs of homebrew IPA.

You gotta do this thing with absinthe where you drip cold water into it over a sugar cube. Turns the whole thing white. Much, much better.
