OH MY GOD the Inception soundtrack is freakin' amazing!

iTunes preview song title: 528491 in Inception Soundtrack - it's freakin' godly.

...Oddly enough, when that song was playing during the movie it's the part I thought was the most stupid. >.>

I'm drawing a picture using stippling to shade. There's something kind of zen about using a pen to create thousands upon thousands of dots which all together form shapes on a page. Course, I haven't done it in a while so I cheated and started with a line drawing outlining the image I wanted and am using the dots to fill it in and give it form, but still. It's fun! cheer.gif

No matter how many times I listen to it, Bear McCreary's "Roslin and Adama" from the BSG Season 2 soundtrack is still one of the most beautiful melodies I have ever experienced in music.

Stippling takes so long and it's so annoying but the results are amazing. wub.gif

My rave (since I dun wanna double post): attempting the cross-lake swim. It failed because of high winds and waves. But we're alive. biggrin.gif

Dual rant-rave! The past two weeks have been really cool. I've reconnected with a few old friends, went on a lot of nights out, listened to some awesome new music, got a clean bill of health from the doctor, and spited my ex something fierce. And tomorrow me and two of my best mates are gonna start on a TGWTG-esque internet review series, so fingers crossed that that won't suck. The downside is that I've had no time to write a bardic for Lusternia. Yeah that's nitpicking (like, "oh, my solid gold toilet doesn't have a diamond seat!") but still! Passing up free credits here. suspicious.gif

Yes, my only sister who is 1 1/2 years younger than I. She hadn't come out to Columbus since I was a sophomore in college, so it was good to get to hang out with her out here.
