Today I got the result for the two courses I studied this year for my part-time physics degree. Maths one was no prob (year 1 course), but I thought I had messed up the exam for the Physics one (which was a year 2 course - note to self, do NOT leave 6 months worth of study until the last week).

However, it turns out I managed to scrape a Distinction anyway

Today was my last day of finals for the first semester of my sophomore year.

I got an A on my CS final, and I needed a C on my Calculus II final in order to hold my B in the course, which I think I managed to do.

I also got a Christmas themed skin for firefox, which has animated snow in the ribbon at the top. Also changed the forums to the Tae'Dae theme, which is christmasy too.

I'm ready for a month of no classes and no obligations.

Got my grades for fall, A's in Comp Sci. and Discrete Math and I was able to decently pass Physics, a subject I'm pretty poor in.

I took my first Physics last semester, and barely got a B in it. I really hate Physics.

I have to take my second (but last) one next semester.

I got a Christmas Bonus at work!! A damn good sized one! In cashy money!

Despite an event that would usually make me fairly depressed, life is oddly good.

Got a 60/70 on my AP World History exam. It -was- 50/70, but with the curve, I was one of the top 6 in the class!

Found out I got an 1830 on my PSAT, too. Which means I've got one last PSAT and then the SAT itself to get into the 2000+ range, both next (junior) year. Whee!

Oh gods man, I'm sorry you have to take the "new, improved" SAT I. It's heinous. Used to be just math and some vocab/simile thing, and then you took an SAT II for the essay writing part. This so-called improvement is just lumping the two together, which is even reflected in the new scoring system (2400 vs 1600 + 800). Lamesauce on the part of the college board, I feel, but if you break 2200 then you are a most amazing person indeed.

Congrats on your kick ass AP exam though!

My rave: Wooo, the Airforce and by extension ADG want me. People are going to train ME to tote around 75 kilos of gear and ammo while I patrol though godforsaken wilderness! Yes!

..and the best part is, that they want me to come "Whenever I'm ready, as long as it's before next september".
