My rave- Tex the weiner dog wonder just joined my little family. He's does hair, pierces ears, and does great imprints of his little teeth on toes and hands. Oh and he is working on his nose piercing skills. The best part, house trained at 9 weeks! Fiona still has issues with that and she will be 3 this november. But she is already warming up to him thinking her little tail is a chew toy. Will have to wait to take him around the other dogs... The hybred might think him a snack.

My little ooc rave, now that I've been able to sit and take a little breather during all of this.

Here's my rave.
Being able to ease, and eventually eliminate (hopefully) conflicts between my parents, that used to happen never for long (a day at longest), but with alarming frequency and intensity.

Kind of a rant and a rave together. A lot of people have been asking me to do some art. Since I'm not working and on medical leave, I need something to take up my hours and it's kind of fun. I just spent at least 24 hours straight awake working on one drawing though o.0 My insomnia's spiked since I started doing these drawings, and I got more to do yet >.> I think I've done 4 deviations in the last 3 days.

But the rave about this is...I like the way they react. My art sucks and I'm not that good, but the wows and raves I got from Reiha, and friends, made it seem worth all that trouble. I also seem to be improving my abilities and subconsciously exploring different styles. It's freaking me out how well my abilities are improving.

But the near constant migrane, pain in the eyes, weariness, inability to sleep...

This is both a rant and a raves post.

I think that's just how art works. The same thing happened with me and drawing clothing, when I was on a "drawing spree", if you will (it went from "god-awful" to "passable" :P).

My real world rave is that I had one of the most amazing summers ever interning at Microsoft. If anyone here is in comp sci or something technical like that and in college and thinking about places to intern you should def. try to intern at Microsoft because they give you great benefits, pay, and you'll meet some of the most passionate people ever there.

(note: I'm not raving about all of MS's products, just interning there )

Doing well at my course, which just entered a very interesting phase, and winter is going away so I can be out and about more in my free time.

My boyfriend's sister is having a baby soon, (a next couple of days dealie), it's so exciting! We were just over there this afternoon, and she is as round as a beach ball, but it's all in front... You can hardly tell she's pregnant from the back.

Tomatoes and basil fresh from the garden + salt and pepper + a drizzle of olive oil = one of the many reasons I love summer.

It rained.

It finally rained! Now I'm not completely baking inside my house, and I've had a reason to go outside. <3

Yay rain! I'm about ready for rain myself... 102 degrees out, feels like 110+. This is no way for a Marylander to live
