Boyfriend finally found his passport ( ), so he'll be doing his visa soon, and soon he'll be over here and I have a really good excuse to visit London often.

Although it comes at the cost of losing our pastry chef, who was a pretty cool chick. And also I have to take over her job until we find a baker, which means getting up at 3 and 4 in the morning for a few weeks. No more Lusternia after 10 PM EST for a while.

Also, my rave: I have the 7th, 8th and 11th off, which means I can actually participate in all of the Lusternia anniversary events! Originally I thought I would miss most of them. I IRE.

As of last night, yes. I abandoned my mine to explore the world more, and I found a nice mountaintop above the cloudline to build a castle on.

I wish I could get it, played it on the site, and it's pretty fun.

Hehe. Isn't it wonderful? I've yet to get it on my new laptop again, but still.

My new official job title is Pastry Maven. It'll be on the business cards and everything. I can't believe they went along with it.

I missed seeing my family. Was a nice pleasant break.

Sorry, I can only point you in the right direction.

I've begun work on my enclosed harbor for my boats, finished my workshop, and otherwise continued work on turning this hillside into a castle. When that stalls out a bit I'll polish the mine a bit and see if I can find a good iron source so I can afford to use buckets of lava to power the furnaces I'm cooking glass and brick in.

I had a math test last week, and even though I studied for it, half the questions were things that the teacher didn't go over during the review period, so I didn't really know them. Soooo I ended up guessing on just about all of them. Got the test back, fearing the results...to see that I got a 98.5%. Well then!

I'll take it.

Happy birthday to myself. A brand spanking new bookcase to fill up with books, here I come.

Scary thought, mostly cause of the limited amount of training, but I am now certified, for 3 years, after 8 hours (and only 15 minutes of that being proper use of breathing apparatus) to work in some of the most dangerous gas in the world.

Next certification - confined space search and rescue. (at least I get 30 minutes of SCBA/SABA training in that one!)
