I don't like to post in the Raves thread so much but...

Hanging out with my sister on Christmas Eve, playing Lusternia and watching Care Bears Adventure In Wonderland (You like hats? I'm mad about hats!)

Oh, and eating scotch balls and drinking egg nog. Not the crappy, real egg nog - the awesome, artificially-flavoured fake egg nog!

I have started lately to feel kind of bad about never really trying to remember all the stuff I learned in my art classes. So I'm trying to teach myself...at home...and it is very hard, because there is no room for me to keep art stuff. And someone hid all my paper somewhere, so I've been having to use printer paper instead of my nice paper grrr. But even though I am COVERED in conte crayon, and the only surface I have to work on is my keyboard tray, I feel good about actually making an effort to improve myself. I'm not a very good artist. I can do a few things ok but other stuff I'm really, really bad at. And instead of avoiding them, I must take them head on, and make them submit to my will muahahaha eat it FEET, and KNEES, and SHOULDERS. You are going down.

You're about 10K times better as an artist then I am! I'm lucky if my SICKFIGURES don't look malformed.

They are sick...

Being a better artist than someone else doesn't mean I should ignore the flaws in my work.

My rave: Snow on Christmas. The forecasters have been all over the map trying to guess how much we'll get, but I'm off 'til Tuesday no matter what and I'm gonna enjoy just watching it fall. Current estimates are at 2-7 inches, which means we might not even be opening the shop on Tuesday.

Mini-rave cause of the whole working over the holidays stuff.
My grandparents were super happy with the keureg coffee machine I bought em for christmas.
Also, I got a brand new computer chair for my room (Upgraded from a crappy picnic chair that had staples sticking out of it)

It is Boxing Day tomorrow, my favourite holiday of the year =) There are crazy deals all over the place (in Canada), especially on electronics. So I will be getting a proper pair of headphones finally! I wonder if other countries have it, maybe Commonwealth countries?

I got Donkey Kong Country Returns and it is fun on a bun.

Australia does indeed have Boxing Day, but it's another public holiday! And since Christmas/Boxing Day fall on Saturday/Sunday this year, we get the holidays on Monday/Tuesday - so the big day of sales is likely to be Wednesday.

I got the complete DVDs of all three seasons of Avatar: the Last Airbender. I've been watching it with my entire family, in the hopes of getting them into it; I've gotten as far as The Storm and it seems to be working!

Nice! I only managed to get my brothers to watch it.

Late Christmas present - every issue of Scott Pilgrim! Even though the giver said "IT'S LIKE TWILIGHT FOR BOYS, YOU POSERRR", best gift ever.

Also, I ended up watching Alien and No Country For Old Men tonight back-to-back!

Scott Pilgrim was an awesome movie. Same with No Country For Old Men. Now I may re-watch No Country For Old Men again.

Glee DVDs ahhhh. Excuse me, I'll be obnoxiously singing song covers for the rest of the year.

I got socks.

But also a piece of chocolate.
