Been playing Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for many hours. It's awesome.

It is awesome. The sequel is also solid and fixes up a lot of the problems with 1, but it is kind of "more of the same" so be aware. I didn't regret buying either though.

I had the option of getting the second one, but I had heard it was a lot like the first, so I just decided I wanted the original. ^.^

It reminds me a lot of the original Final Fantasy Tactics, which I also loved. And the idea of being able to take your characters to level 9999...is just great. Then transmigrate and do it again.

It is a lot like the first, but it's better. And you don't need to have played the first to understand the plot of the second. So the second would have been a better buy. But both are very fun.

(The transmigrate crap is REALLY ANNOYING btw. It's worse on Disgaea 2 in fact. You have to level them up really high, then start them from 0 again, for every class. It's just so mindnumbing I got most of my people to the 2nd class in their chains and left them there.)

I've passed all 4 parts of my CPA exam! Now I just need to take an ethics test (giggle) and get a few hundred more hours of audit experience and then I get to add those precious 3 letters after my name!

Are you gonna do something special for it? When I turned 21, my mom and me drove across state to the Boats and went gambling. It took me four hours to loose the $100 I'd saved for the occasion on Roulette. I kept winning a bit and losing a bit and winning a bit.

My mom had taken $50 to play nickle slots with. Funny thing, she decided to stop when she had $1 left. Just before we left, I had to use the restroom real quick so she was waiting by the entrance where the dollar slots were. She considered putting her last dollar in the one she was standing next to but then decided against it - she wanted to be good and leave with at least one dollar. This woman walked up and stuck a dollar in and pulled the handle thingie and won the $40,000 jackpot.

My mom said a whole lotta curse words on the ride home. It was hilarious.

That could also be interpreted as your manager wanting to terminate you because you don't want to work.

I could be wrong though..

My best friend had her twins!

Noah Brayden at 5lb and Collin Lee at 3lb 1oz..weird how they were two pounds apart!
They had to be taken an hour away to a hospital with a better neonatal center thing and
she never got to see them up close or hold them but they're out of the incubators and only
the littlest is still on oxygen and expected to do great.

I bought another volume of H.P. Lovecraft stories today, this one containing 29 stories, including At the Mountains of Madness, which I'm interested to see how much inspiration is derived from it for the Earth Plane.

Also returned Crysis and got The Witcher. Sweet game so far.

It is absolutely gorgeous outside here. <33 I can't even describe how pumped I am about it.
