I got my first wok today. I'm wokking out.

Despite having a really horrible day today, I am pleased to rave about the giddy-making music of Kate Nash.

This sure made me chuckle, mainly with the use of the 'jigan smilie'

I love stormy weather - unless the tornado lands on me, of course! Right now, the tornadoy part has apparently dissapted a bit (we're back down to a Watch now), but we're in for some really rough thunderstorms. It looks like it's about 6pm outside and it's only 10am.
got about 2-4 inches here, Noola.. come north a bit

My rave is for Kharvik.
Much <3 <3 <3 to him for introducing me to epic power metal. I used to think of metal as just a bunch of hacks making really loud noise. But after listening to bands like falconer and rhapsody of fire, my eyes are opened. I've been listening to them non-stop for the past few days. Everything from the radical guitar riffs to the epic lyrics to the hardcore rocking, I love it all. There are few greater pleasures in life than discovering a new genre of music you like.

Secondhand Serenade Yay!

My rave is for Ubuntu. I'm really starting to like using Ubuntu - it's what Vista should have been modeled after.

3:10 to Yuma was one of the most powerful films I've seen in a while, and I was never a big fan of Westerns in the first place.
Diamondais2008-02-09 04:47:20
Cloverfield. Wasn't what I expected, but I liked it!

This is a rave disguised as a rant: an engagement ring (that I'm supplying the diamonds for) setting me back $1500.
Acrune2008-02-14 03:51:12
I <3 my car. More specifically the heated mirrors that have been so helpful during the freezing rain I've had lately, and the upgraded stereo that I was kind of forced to get (the only car in stock that had the features I wanted had the stereo) that sounds so great with my new nightwish CD. Mmm, goth rock.

That's a nice design But the most important question is... how fuel efficient and environmentally compatible is it!?
And my own rave: guild writer's strike is over! Now I can finally see what happens next on CSI

In theory I think its something like 19 city, 27 highway. I've only gotten 2 tanks of gas so far though, and the dealer didn't fill it completely. I was going to figure the mileage between the first and second fill (the two I've done), but I lost the receipt that I wrote the car's odometer on, so I don't know how much I've driven between fills
*cuddle 269 hp engine* Mmm... unnecessary powerrrr. Screw the environment
I'm glad you like it though

That sounds pretty awful as far as gas mileage goes though. But then, I drive a minivan... so I have no room to talk.

I have a rave and a rant.
My best friends little boy(smallest of preemie twins) will be let out of the hospital after having severe RSV!
He'd been on oxgen and even had to have a spinal tap(he's 6 weeks old and at most 4 and a half pounds now)
My rant, the doctor told her because of the both of them having RSV they should have no contact or visitors until the end of the RSV season...which is May 1! They were born Jan 4th and the family has yet to see them. Poor babies.

I do a lot of stop-and-go too. And a lot of stomping the gas out of red lights... cause the acceleration is fun... I'm sure my mileage is terrible. It only takes me 15-20 minutes to get to work though if there's not any traffic, so its not far, and thats the only driving I do, more or less. Not going to stress a few extra bucks Not to mention I'm tall, and hate driving reclined, so SUV seemed to be the only way to go. The RAV4 isn't bad as far as SUVs go, unless I wanted to buy a $35k highlander hybrid.
