Just finished Season One of Wakfu. It's a really fun show, I suggest people who like animation should watch it. 
Kind of makes me think of A:TLA in that it is a group of young people following a boy who is the last of his kind to save the world and such. If you liked that, you'd probably like this!

I was supposed to get a copy of Portal.
I'm in Japan. Like I've wanted to since I was eight. Before the anime came along, before any of that crap popped up in any real strength in America, I wanted to go to Japan for it's culture, and because samurai were really cool.
Now I get to go to Japan for two years with a steady paying job, a place to sleep and eat, and drinking buddies.

Nice.
On one hand I really like traditional Japanese culture and history, I am a big fan of the Sengoku period in particular.
On the other hand, I am also a fan of anime and manga, as well as Japanese pop-culture in general, as well.
I would also like to go to Japan some day, for both of those reasons.
Wormageddon seems to have passed. Now just gotta keep the females from climbing back up the trees or something like that, and it'll break their life cycle? I'm just glad I can go outside without getting pooped on.

It has been a looongg weekend. My brother got married on Saturday. I think I'll be sleeping the week away, not like I do anything else.
