I am currently happy because gay date to prom hell yes.

Less than two weeks until I go home (going to miss it here, but good to go home sometimes!), getting excited for the newest addition to the family coming this fall (hurrah for older cousins getting that responsibility) and my exams start and finish soon enough, plus it's a Pass/Fail system for me so just have to pass them!

Went to a sealed Magic pre-release tournament yesterday for the New Phyrexia set. First time I'd played in 5 years or so, placed 6th out of ~30 people. Also pulled a mythic rare Karn Liberated planeswalker.

Mirrodin's artifacts are just better in my opinion. Like they say, if a card is any color other then blue, it's a bad card.

I actually ran an artifact/Blue deck. It was built around small flying/unblockables and life gain, which I used in turn to fuel some phyrexian mana cards (pay life instead of mana to cast), eventually leading up to either getting Karn out, getting out a Caged Sun artifact that let me choose a color and boost their power by 1/1, or a darksteel juggernaut with power/toughness equal to the number of artifacts I had. Also used a lot of metalcraft cards.

I was always a fan of the Blue "No-You-Don't" deck.

I personally use a blue artifact deck that uses a combination of the basic SS/MOE combo in conjunction with Myrs and Extraplanar lenses to boost mana consumption. I also have some Ethereum Sculptors in there to reduce mana costs, two Tezerets, and 4 Inkwell Leviathans for breaking endgame stalemates.

Also, yay for finally getting my laptop back to normal. However, it looks like the graphics/motherboard may be going. THE GOOD PART? My grandfather accidentally bought the motherboard for my model, so I have a replacement yaaaay.

After four weeks, I still say 'Woohoo! Game of Thrones!'
