I just realized was Seraku's avatar was and spent the better part of 5 minutes staring at it.

Also I get a new harddrive for the travelmate in a couple of weeks, but I still have to order the caddy for it. sad.gif Silly people, why you no leave harddrive caddy in laptop?

Free PS3 games? Sure! That totally makes up for PSN being down for a month. And I say that with no trace of irony. I love free stuff.

Mainly the end of the last book and part of the middle of it. But yes, the series is highly recommended along with his Codex Alera series.

I thought the Codex was crap.

My Ulcer seems to be healed up real well. I can eat just about anything again without pain. Haven't taken my prilosec for about a week now. The flipside is I immediately started drinking mountain dew again sad.gif I'll never give it up sad.gif

Also, new laptop is only a few hours from arrival. FedEx says it's on the delivery truck. I might just do the usual and hop in the car and chase him down(I've got plenty of experience at this now, whether it's Fedex, UPS, or Post Office) smile.gif

Free PS3 games? Is that the 'customer appreciation' they were talking about?

Yeah, everyone gets to pick two PS3 games and two PSP games to download for free, and a month free trial of PlayStation Plus (that thankfully doesn't auto-renew). All of this is their apology for PSN being out of commission and our personal information being at risk. We also got free enrollment in an identity protection service.

New rave: today I've made English flapjacks, s'mores brownies, jalapeño cheddar bread, and Asian-style BBQ seitan pizza, all with just one oven. I am some kind of wizard. whatthe.gif

Today has been a glorious day. I have won my 2 month battle with the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles and now hold in my hand the error-free title to my Lexus.

My laptop also came via FedEx, and it's pretty neat. Real fast, big screen. I'm going to go to bed happy...........if i ever go to bed.

At long last, DSL is finally coming to my neighborhood.

If you constructed a time machine, why did you use it to travel to the dark age?

I've always said, I'd rather live in the woods, because DSL will get to me before the forest gets to you. Turns out I was right. tongue.gif

Who would do such a thing?

Okay, after 2-3 days of feeling very, very strange (after the panic attack) I have finally found myself again, somewhat. Slowly moving away from detachedness and into being-myself-ness, slowly, but surely so far.

I'm thankful for that because nature sucks.
