I am somewhat dissapointed there is no option to continue from a game where you used the Ray Sphere. I miss my black lightning.

There is no game but Lusternia and Eventru is its bright and loud prophet.

Lusternia is fun, but it's a little stressful for me when my "success" in the game depends largely on the participation of others. Sometimes it's more fun just to blast the sh!t out of pedestrians with lightning.

I played Infamous 2 at Best Buy, it was frickin awesome. Now I just need to get a PS3

Despite the mail strike, we got our order from Chapters in yesterday. Yay Game of Thrones and following books.

Very much so. It's quite good, and has a bit more variety then the first one. The only thing is, about 3/4ths of the way through the game, there's this one mission with warehouses and crates that will have you pulling teeth.

Today I discovered that the cause of the tens of thousands of dollars of hardware damage has been conclusively determined to not be my software. I was pretty sure my stuff was fine, but some people don't like blindly taking my word on things for some reason.

Today, I saw my dad for the first time since Christmas. We said hi, and then launched into a long talk about computers. He gave me a new netbook and is buying my old and dying laptop. Yay! Also going to help me fix the Acer so I have a full sized laptop. Mm, technology is good.

Mmm graduation events.

I went to Best Buy today and bought Splinter Cell: Conviction for the PC because the sticker said $19.99





But i only ended up paying $12.74. Sweeeeeet. Just waiting to sneak around and pop some more heads off. Double Agent was getting old.
Also, came dangerously close to purchasing a PS3 today, but i don't think it would look good on my 25 year old tv. I'll buy an HDTV first after a couple more paychecks.

PS3s work fine on old TVs for the most part. The two threats are A) imports (not an issue for you since you're American to begin with) which come out in monochrome instead of colour, and games which abuse extremely tiny fonts (looking at you dead space) for aesthetic reasons. I managed to play quite a lot of stuff on my old teeny weeny telly for a while before discovering NTSC games went black and white.

Yeah, my friend was running his PS3 on an older TV for a while. We gave up trying to read ANYTHING on Rainbow Six: Vegas.

Just saw the Seattle Symphony Orchestra perform video game music from a lot of cool games. It was pretty fantastic. I even think the guy in front of my cried during Chrono Trigger.
