Eh. I'm not really a fan of most plant-foods. However: caffeine.

I now have a dual core Windows XP laptop. I am so so happy, and yet having some issues letting go of my Ubuntu.

Officially married and had a safe flight back home to Seattle. Thankfully, the weather here is not as oppressively humid as Ohio. I also got a free upgrade to first class, which was probably the most amazing thing ever. Lusternia also got a mention during the reception when my best man talked about how many late night hours I spent playing during our freshman year in college.

I got unexpectedly upgraded to first class once. A flight attendant gave me a warm chocolate chip cookie. wub.gif

I agree that it is way more amazing than getting married.

(but congrats on the marriage thing!)

Water pick is so much easier then flossing when your teeth are super-tight together, but man did that feel strange.

In two days I will be flying out of the country for the first time to go to Canada. Why? Because I'm going to meet my dad in person for the first time in memory. I'm both really excited and somewhat apprehensive.

I'll try, but the thing is. I've wanted to see him since I could talk. However I'm still nervous cause he never bothered to pay child support ever, so I'm concerned that he's not all that I expected him to be. At least Ill be staying with my grandparents whom I've seen before and I already like.

Well, here's how I see it. Even if he's not who you expect him to be, he's still a guy who is your dad. Even if he is not the coolest dad in dad school, I think it would still be good to meet him, and you do seem to be excited about it. I wouldn't say EXPECT TERRIBLE THINGS, I'd put it more like...don't expect the worst, but don't expect the best. Expect to meet an important guy in your life who may or may not be good to talk to. And if it does go badly, don't let it ruin your first time in Canada! I have not been to Canada, but I hear that summer is the best time to visit the place. Soooo like I said, have a (friggin') rad time.

Yesterday was the day that southern Ontario broke all its heat records for a single day (37.1C, felt closer to 48-50C), but luckily my parents dragged me up north with them to the cottage which was nice. I got to go swimming for the first time in a year, relax and enjoy the nice up north quietness!

Expect to meet someone who provided one half of your genetic information.

That's all he is.

He makes up what you PHYSICALLY look like, not who you are as a person.
