My Lusternia-Civ game is going well. I just wish I could get the aesthetics of the Civs to match up with the Lusternia Aesthetics (Celest is clearly Roman, but Rome is gold and purple. And Serenwilde is clearly Iroquois, but the Iroquois are navy blue and beige.)

Yay! I have a means of making money! All I gotta do is vacuum the downstairs, clean any dishes I get dirty, and make sure I keep my room and my "gaming" room clean. All for 50$ a week.

That's a lot of money for what I've always been expected to do for free.

I think my dad decide to do this after I asked him about whether or not I should close my bank acct. seeing as I am in the red with my savings and now <20$ in my checking. Chances are the 50$ a week will change to like a month or something. And there's also an added erm...uh can't think of the word, but basically I get -5$ if he refills the food/water bowl of my cats. Which isn't a whole lot taken off. Yah, I should've been cleaning the house since I am here all day. Motivation ftw?

I have a job (albeit at minumum wage, with like no hours, sitting in a box office) and I have... $1.73 in my checking account.

I'm paying rent, bus pass, buying groceries, and putting money on two phones this week. Goodbye, last paycheck. On the plus side, picked up an extra job on the side for a weekend in October. But yeah, hello OT in order to keep up. Probably working Saturday this week just to get some extra hours.

Thanking myself that I had the good sense to save most of my paycheck and live frugally while I had a job. Sitting on some decent savings right now that are helping me get through this period of unemployment. If I play my cards right, I should be able to stretch it out for several months IF NEED BE. I would really prefer not to though, and am constantly on the lookout for a job. Fortunately I was able to prepay my rent until January, and have plans to pay in January for my January-May rent(we get a discount for paying for a semester instead of monthly). My biggest killer right now is gas, so i'm cutting back on how much i drive my gas guzzling car. The good news it that fuel is supposed to drop in the coming months.

I was late, but it didn't count, because my teacher was late too! Yaaaaay.

And I got an A on a paper I made boner jokes throughout.

Such an internet kid.

got a 100% on my Microeconomics test, and have the 4th highest overall grade among the professor's 3 classes.....................but I don't pay attention in class, I just surf FB.
