Hail Byzantium!

My best game so far was actually as the Papal States. I almost managed to conquer the world with it.

More of a RP person myself, though conquest is fun. Reclaimed the borders of the Roman Empire, and married off Byzantine princesses to my Christian neighbors. I even reenacted Rome's transition from a Republic to the Empire! (noble republic->republican dictatorship->absolute monarchy, granted went republic in the first place just so I could get a decent admin ruler to modernize military)

Well now I have to go play Civ. :(

It would seem, once again, that I have survived the end of the world.

The whole album is great. I swear, the quality's only been going up with time. Or maybe my fandom, I'm not sure.

I like The Felt best myself. It's quiet but interesting.

The whole spiffed-up version of Black Rose/Green Sun (which was already like my favorite song from the last album) at the end of Cascade...especially when the violin comes in at 12:02...Bwuuugh. :wub: Jeez. I can't stop listening to this album. Judgment Day and Scourge Sisters (of course I like a song called Scourge Sisters...) are great songs too. And I liked Davesprite too-- P-RO did the album art for that one? Oh snap I love P-RO! I didn't know P-RO liked Homestuck... OH AND I LIKE FROSTBITE and aguhghg I am nerding out too hard, I better stop myself before I end up listing half the damn songs in the album.

I guess when I put my mind to it, I can get a lot of work done on my set of Mandalorian armor. Wore what I had tonight for a Halloween party, and this time, it actually felt like a real costume.

I dunno about the best, but it's a damn good album. English could've been tailor-made for Jack's (Flagg, not Noir) early days; creepy, but in a surreal, slow-burning way instead of a bombastic, grandiloquent one like Black.

I love halloween so much. It is the only day where children are adorable and not screaming, sticky malformed gremlins (or at least, the only day where that is endearing). There is no amount of candy I would not trade to continue this parade of faeries, princesses, pirates, wolfmen, ghosts, and lemurs. Would that this new forum layout had smileys enough to express my joy. *Bakes pumpkin bread* *Toasts pumpkin seeds*
