Yes, I was doing the happy squirm for about an hour. I had to install my discs and DLC first,so I didn't get to play 'till 12:45, and I made 4 characters before 2 am. Still love my vanguards though.

I'm having a lot of fun playing around with the Ars Magica 5 rules again, though I spend half the time I intend to work on getting used to character creation daydreaming instead!

EDIT: Wait, did I say half? I meant 90%.

JK Rowling announced she's writing a new novel, completely unrelated to the Harry Potter series.

But on the LOL side of it, she is switching publishers, and is going to use the same publisher that Stephanie Meyers uses.........hope it doesn't influence her writing.

With the kind of money she has, seems like she could self publish and get away with it.

There's a difference between getting away with it and writing something that's good. She could write seventy pages of nonsense and profanity and people would buy it at this point.

However, I'm not sure it would matter if she got the same editor as Stephanie Myer at this point as they have different goals in what they want to write, y'know, one writes nonsense with awful, blank slate characters and no emotion and the other write about friggen dumbledore (Who's awesome) if I do end up buying whatever she writes (which is iffy), I'm not expecting it to be rubbish.

Finally got to sleep without needing to wake up for anything (I love you, Wednesday-of-no-classes). Huuah I needed that.

After a couple months without a working computer, I bought a super old, boxy laptop yesterday. Got Fedora up and running in 30 minutes, so now I can be on Lusternia without my girlfriend kicking me off hers so she can log in. WOO!

Rooting around in my system specs, looking for things to upgrade, discovered that my hard drive isn't an ordinary disc, but a SSD. I realize it seems like the sort of thing you'd figure out earlier, but it was a pleasant surprise to me.

Discovered I will not be sitting alone in the creepy old part of the building for 8 hours. Repair crew is actually here as well, which I wasn't told.

Seriously can not understate how much of huge baby I am that felt like something was going to crawl out and kill me everytime I walked past one of those door looking things with a crude skull painted on it. Much easier with other people working very loudly nearby.

I almost won a high speed driving award tonight while driving home to visit my family for Spring Break. I was clocked doing 76 in a 65. It was the first time I've ever been questioned about firearms in the vehicle(and incidentally, the first time I actually had a firearm in the vehicle while being stopped). I replied that I had an unloaded rifle in the backseat, and a concealed weapons permit. He asked me about handguns, told him I was too broke for that, we had a good laugh. Ended up getting out of the speeding ticket with just a warning. That makes 7 times I've been stopped(1 for exhibition of speed, 2 for speeding, 1 for no front plate, 1 for reckless driving(false charge, crooked cop), and 1 for hopping a curb, and 1 for street racing). I have yet to receive a single ticket for any of those, despite almost going to jail for 2 of them.

I really need to stop pushing my luck. In this case, I had only momentarily gone over the limit. I had turned off the cruise control while fidgeting with my instrument panel, since it wasn't lighting up right, and while trying to get my lights to work right, had gently accelerated to 76. My car has a lot of power, and it comes on very smooth, so it's hard to notice it.

I got a new mouse, thanks to my bro (who unfortunately could not use for some reason). I need to get use to it though, feels very weird/different than my old one.

It took a few reads before I read that as a computer mouse, rather than a pet. I was quite confused...

It was basically like old times. But, I saw where I went wrong a few times, and it's pushed me to get a discern burst trigger set up. Fun stuff.

I'm assuming you mean for Me3 multiplayer?

I do indeed. Was in a party with a Quarian Infiltrator, an Asari Adept, a Krogan Soldier, and myself, a Human Engineer.

We had all the bases covered, and we were making it all the way to the last wave regularly. Never quite managed to get extracted though.
