Kialkarkea:

A bottle of sriracha arrived in the mail today.

This merits investigation.

Damn, I wish that would happen to me more often.

That awesome feeling when you finally hand in your term paper after many many laborious hours of working on it.

It's real. I...I bought it.

EDIT: By the way, try to make it at least to page 3 of that before deciding you've seen enough. ;)

Weirder and weirder. Beyond the strangeness of the one that made this. I'm even more amazed they ported this to english.

Strange as it is and despite me moving and living in another country, I have never been to the Canadian capital city. This is being fixed this upcoming week, although I am working-ish while I do this, but still.

I went in middle school for a trip! It's not that exciting. Except for the Parliament Buildings, they're kind of awesome. But... city. Ugh. (actually, now that I think about it... Ottawa is really beautiful...)

(but then again I hate all big cities. I've been to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Los Angeles and Seattle. Ugh. Cities.)

Cities hardly bother me, and it's been in the Travel Plan(tm) for ages, just never had the chance.

I have now confirmed that this bottle of Sriracha is mine, and that I may use it as much as I want.

I have never tasted or possessed such a culinary agent before. Where does this enigmatic condiment go?
Razenth2012-04-26 05:22:36
EVERYTHING.

Tastes great in burritos (esp, breakfast burritos), tacos, fajitas (i.e. mexican dishes), nachos, on eggs, with hashbrowns/corned beef n hash, in soup, in chilli and chile, on hot dogs, in tomato sauce, on pizza... generally it's got a strong garlic component. Also, a little can go a long way if you've not tried it before.

Next stop, Dave's Ghost Pepper Sauce.

Edit: My rave - I messaged David Cross on FB about a week and a half ago. I just got a reply.

Did you read the second thread? Where she plays through the full version of the game, not just the demo? You should.

This game.

It was made for me.

If you have a toaster oven(NOT A TOASTER), spread some butter on a slice of bread, sprinkle on some taco seasoning, and toast it. Then add sriracha as desired. ;)

Doesn't need to just go on Asian food. It goes on all the foods. I put it in soup a lot. And on hot dogs.

I forgot to add to my other list: it's amazing on chilli cheese fries/dogs and baked stuffed clams/crabs/oysters. So yes, everything! XD

Edit: found this. Rave? http://blogs.ocweekly.com/stickaforkinit/2012/04/sriracha_lollipops.php#more

After trying this mysterious sauce on my sabrettes, I found it to be far more mild then I had expected. Effective use of the red rooster will evidently require liberal dosages

Maybe in conjunction with my usual sprinkling of cayenne pepper.
