Posting this from my iPad over breakfast at a hotel on the Amalfi coast overlooking the Mediterranean. I would be posting from poolside, but despite sleeping 13 hours and missing breakfast, they held breakfast over for us.

I am... no longer technically employed. Does this mean I'll go back to Lusternia? Probably not, or at least not as Aeral.

I got hired by the school district yesterday to help out with Special Ed.

They were curious as to why an Accounting major had 2 prior work experiences in education and was currently applying to work at a school.

But now I can spend money on things I need, such as tires and firearms.

What oddly specific things for an accountant to need.

The tires are for safe travels....
the firearms are for a hobby(target shooting and occasional rabbit hunting), as well as self-defense.

Can't get to sleep, might as well make nachos.

Currently melting into a comfortable library armchair after six hours of sleep and a five-hour class. It even has a little cylindrical pillow you can put behind your back to support your lumbar region.

This may sound silly, but sometimes I'm really surprised by what a freaking grownup I am. Like, when I get off of a really informative and productive business call with a vendor for work. It's just surprising because I watch cartoons and play video games and like to color in coloring books and I'm actually really excited that it's Talk Like A Pirate Day and I'm planning my Halloween costume already and what I want for Christmas (Amazon gift cards, FYI. I'm going to add them all up and pay the difference to get myself a Kindle Fire HD! :D )... But there I was, having a grownup business type conversation with someone and making decisions and being just generally awesome.

Now, I'm gonna take my dog for a walk and then get back to work. lol

I came downstairs to find a relic of my childhood sitting on the dining room table: my Patti the purple platypus beanie baby!! Omigosh. It's in my lap right now. I took it in the kitchen with me when I made coffee. I freakin loved this thing, I thought it was long since gone forever. Patti you are never leaving my sight again.

Today, Miciah and I got married IRL! Thanks Lusternia. :)
