Going to be going to Salem on the 12th. Yay!
My bro-in-law is going to be moving out in two weeks. Yay!
I have defeated the vermin overlords and they no longer plague my home. Yay!
Aside from that, with all the good stuff going on...
... I'm really, really, REALLY bored.
Y'know, been scrolling through some links, trying to find something for me to do that's productive, and I can't seem to find much.
If you feel like it, look at the links too. Tell me if you guys can find anything productive to do with them.

If anyone finds something to do with the mess of things I've been reading that can produce a physical, tangible result, throw a word my way, won't you?

Getting back down to my 2.4km run time of 8:42. Granted, I only got that with some helpful, friendly gentlemen and fifty other guys around me all doing the same run as competition, but hey, I've managed it once. Only 48 seconds left to remove.

Damn. That is very good.
How many miles do you run a week? Yes I think in miles, nanometers and Liters. Sue me.

I go to the gym for 2-2 and a half hours a day and jog/sprint on the treadmill with a nice incline, and then do big runs saturday and sunday. Running on a treadmill is nothing like running outside. I stopped trainning for a month and ended up barely managing it in under ten minutes.

Well it's quite obvious, you can build a quantum computer powered by solar panels with a battery backup, into which you can feed the strategies of napoleon and combined with market analysis you will soon have a strategy to trule the world, which will probably involve a php coded website which plays a special musical mind-control tune, and if anyone isn't under your control your ability to spot lies will mean you can have them instantly tied to a chair and chucked in a pond.

Warhammer beta. Glee. It's now, of course, I find out they've invited EVERYONE. Probably. Oh, and apparently my provisional security paperwork is approved and will arrive in a "delayed timeframe due to high application volume". But, hey, it's approved.

Finally got my hair cut, and I bought the first season of Heroes. I must say I do indeed love it.

Got a new job, and am making ridiculous amounts of money for relatively little work, so I was able to buy my daughter all her school supplies, and some things for my heterosexual life partner for her and her new baby. I am content.
Saaga2008-08-09 01:37:08
I need a job like that too. Spouse won't let me. Damn.

Got myself the dog I've always wanted, a Great Pyrenees. His name is Byron, he's 11 weeks and 15 lbs with ginormous paws so I'm figuring he'll be a brute when he grows up. He's cute and fluffy and licks anything that moves. Did I mention he's freakin adorable?

Chicago's weather.
77°F, sunny, reasonable humidity. Really now, it is almost mid-august and this is what we're getting? Is this a sign of the apocalypse?
