A beautiful weekend day in Vermont.
Morning: Eating yummy Pakistani food at the Montpelier Farmer's Market while picking over some really great, locally grown produce, for the Mexican feast I'll be cooking tomorrow for some friends (while we introduce one of them to Firefly, poor girl has never seen it!).
Afternoon: Got out the chainsaw, hammer, and wedge, and cut, split, and stacked some timber I felled last year from my land, to be burned in the woodstove this winter. Exhausting but curiously satisfying. Musical accompaniment: Come Away With Me, Norah Jones.
Evening: Setting up my nifty new Windows Mobile smartphone, which I can't help notice has thousands, maybe millions, of times more processing power than the world's biggest supercomputers had when I was first learning computer programming in the early 80s.
Night: Lendren will be directing the premiere of his next play, assuming everyone shows up.
Edit: the play went off, but the phone didn't actually arrive when it was supposed to. Damn you, Fedex! (According to the tracking site, it's still "out for delivery" at 11:15pm...)

Well he could be in "The Bean" pic if he is the one who took the pic, but it would be hard to see.

Finally no-long sick! Sort of. Less flu, more cold now. Means I can go to the gym and start running again. I shouldn't be so excited over the chance to bolt through the city (hopping small obstacles and bouncing off walls, and I do mean bouncing, because I have a bad habit of running face first into them) and getting strange looks with music blaring into my ear drums, but hey, I am!

Having my first payments for tuition figured out and my rooms, hopefully it's the correct amount but so long as it arrives it should be enough to count towards the first payment, which means I can just walk up to the finances office and badger them about amounts later.
Gemma's finally getting out of this city.

Putting the copy of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem I picked up into the Wii and taking her for a spin.
Having Ghirardell Dark Chocolate Fudge turn out perfectly despite my not using a double boiler also ranks.

Well, finding out you're white is a bit of a disappointment, but discovering you may be near/can appreciate the greatest city on earth is a definite plus!
