AS results today. I was expecting three C's, but I got an A, a B and a C instead. So I'm pleased about that.

I'm so-so on Harry Potter. Something about it is very very enchanting.. but it really does suck in the overall sense,

There's a game coming out called Billy the Wizard and the Broom Racing Grand Prix or something like that, which looks like it'll take the fun aspects of the Harry Potter world without having to be restricted by the license.

I CAUGHT A BLUEFISH TODAY AND HE'S SITTING IN MY FRIDGE NOW WAITING TO BE DINNER TOMORROW.

I caught a fish!! I've never been fishing before, so this is victory. DINNER IS MINE.

I think I'm going to buy a Wii...

BAH. Sodding thing changed its mind after an hour of queueing. "No downloads were found in the queue for you."

Oh well, at least the real game comes out on EDIT: Friday. They better have it mailed me before Monday.

Now I am all hyped up for the full game. The demo didn't have Adam or weapon upgrades, and it was linear (it's supposed to be a "newbie zone" to help yourself familiarise with the game after all), but man was it fun. The graphics are great, the splicers are creepy, the interface is intuitive and it has the feel it should have.

Also, the demo lets you, almost literally, be Roy Mustang. The Incinerate! (yes, with the exclamation mark) power sets enemies on fire when you snap your fingers - only without the gloves.

EDIT: I forgot to add. This game is very Shiri-unfriendly, as splicers (and people in the logs) use swear words.

It doesn't look like my kind of game, but I keep hearing so much about it.

Man, 5 hours? It told me I'd have to wait like 24. And apparently amazon isn't delivering bioshock to me on release day. I must've preordered it with too little stock available.

That's because they're busy making a British language version. Here are some quotes from the game and their respective translations from Generic English into British:

"Die, motherfu****!" -> "Have at you, sod!"
"Holy sh**!" -> "Oh bother..."

There's also an american version:

"Die, motherfu****!" -> "Die, motherfu****... in America!"

From the demo, do the characters in the game speak English or American? I would assume American since the developers sounded American on their podcast etc., but you never know, and quite a few of the Baldur's Gate II characters even had English voiceacting.

Most sound american.
