Kelly the IT guy's little dog, Peanut, was just outside, basking in the sun as she loves to do whenever possible. And a butterfly landed on her little nose and sat there.
I could die from the sheer adorableness of it all.

I bought a round-trip ticket on the Greyhound bus for $138.00 Canadian. Everyone so far as been expecting me to be charged a lot more.
It's nice to have the way I'm getting back to Richmond Hill-Toronto area all settled out before the wedding. It um. wont be cool being up to catch a taxi/bus to get to the depot at 6:30am.
edit: Oh right, plus I got a nice new sweater and The World Ends With You.

While in Chemistry class today, one my classmates (sister of someone on student council) told the class about how the school recently decided that we could take grades/scores we received on last year's state exams, and place them in substitution of any core-class (English, Math, History, General Science) we took in our Freshman and Sophomore years.
I got 'Exceeds Expectations' in every section.
My Geometry teacher last year also hated my guts and gave me a D in our First Semester, which has been dragging my GPA down for ages.
Will it anymore? Hell no. In your
g face, you arse of a teacher. I endured your class for an entire year, you've placed me by the most SMELLIEST person I've ever encountered, you tried to make me fail at every turn, I bore it all like a good little student, and now I'm turning that grade into a flawless A. You have no idea how good that makes me feel. In. Your. Face.

Finding out someone who treated me like crap in HS is still a child and is doing poorly in college because she's too busy fantasizing over Chip Skylark.
Also realizing this person's artwork isn't as good as many other people's artwork, and she really wasn't worth the hype she had received. And she's short.
It's nice to not worry about people coming after your academic pursuits after you express your disdain for their personality, attitudes, and everything else about them that makes them a crummy individual.

Went to Pagan Pride Day and joined in with the ritual. Convinced my fiance to join in, because he was staring at everyone lining up for the circle, and shuffling his feet, and whining to me that he wanted to participate too. Dragged him in, and he loved the ritual. I have honestly never seen him so happy before. And I was really happy to see so many Pagans in one concentrated spot, of so many different ages and races.
I haven't been in a group ritual in a long time. It was a lot of fun.
I also went to my first workshop, on Kitchen Witchery. Made friends with the lady running it... garlic dip was too good to not buy. She asked for my name, e-mail, and number, and I gave it to her, she told me if I want a private workshop on Kitchen Witchery, ever, that she can come to my house and for about $25 teach me some Kitchen Witchery, cook with me(, and eat with me, of course!).
Today was a really great day -- I hope I have more days like this.

My mom found a kitten outside in the road.
Alive. o.o
I'm trying to convince her that it's helpless and we need to keep her, she's the size of my hand and probably shouldn't be away from her mother.
Anyone have name suggestions? If I name her, we can't get rid of her >_>

What color is she?
If anything, "Lucky" would be a good name. You found her and she's alive!
Harkux2008-09-28 19:00:52
She's a little grey-brown tiger cat. I'll have pictures of her once she dries, I had to give her a flea bath x.x
