Well, was going to make a mocha, but after preparing my espresso, I realized we were out of milk.

So, instead, I poured the espresso in a cup, marked it with whipped cream, and am having a delicious macchiato!

Kelly the IT guy's little dog Peanut is trying to steal cheetos from me. But she shall not prevail! No matter how adorable she is. No matter how pathetically she whines and how heavily she plies the puppy eyes. No matter.... oh damn. How did she get that cheeto?

You should just hear her though! You'd think the silly thing was starved the way she's going on! I have like a level 3 weakness against pathetic puppies.

My sister wants me to move in with her and her fiance in our Mimi's house after our Dad gets it fixed up cause he wants to trade my sister for her much smaller apartment. He doesn't like living in the house by himself and would rather have a one person sized apartment.

I'm seriously tempted. Between the three of us, we can take over the mortgage, insurance and tax payments as well as split the utilities.

Pros:

Much larger living space - a three bedroom, two story house in lieu of a one bedroom apartment.
Pets - the house comes with two dogs and a cat, plus my sister's dog and cat and my guinea pig.
Washer and Dryer - no more laundromat.
Dishwasher - no more hand-washing dishes.
SWIMMING POOL
Much closer to several places that are fairly awesome.
Hanging out with my sister and her fiance who I really get along with well.


Cons:

I'd have to sell off nearly all of my furniture.
I'd need to get a new job and the job market's not that great at the moment.
I don't really have the money to move anywhere at the moment, it'll be a few months before I could consider it. Of course, my sister's not about to make the switch till my Dad finishes all the fix-ups anyway so I might just have those months.
Much further away from several places that are fairly awesome.


I've got some serious thinkin to do.

A gallon of petrol cost me the equivalent of $8.88

But that gallon will get you halfway across your country. Over here, in a real country, its possible for things to be far away!

Traded in my 98 Merury Sable for an 01 Impala today. Gold, power everything... when I turn on the radio, the display shows me not only the name of the radio station, but what the song is that's playing.

Put up the last of the peppers from this year's harvest to dry, the ones left over after putting up 11 pints of salsa.

I have the next week off, to spend doing winterization and other domestic chores. Maybe cut some more timber for next year.
