So I go down to the local used bookstore chain, and I find three source books, one that I was looking for, and two that were just ones I wanted. Then on my way home, I stopped in a convenience store and bought a drink and a scratcher ticket, and won 500 dollars. And then on my way out, I found a quarter. Wheee!

Someone's having a string of good luck.
I found something odd while at the MSU game: a half-dollar coin. It was in the stadium, on the ground, beneath the bleachers in front of me. Seriously though, who brings that to a football game?

New suit, courtsey of Burtons; new hair, courtsey of dye and scissors; new music, courtsey of the fine people at the QC forums. All of these culminate in a money-sucking-but-totally-worth-it weekend.

Is that Buster from AD in your avatar?
Unknown2007-09-09 18:55:31
I will answer for him: yes, it is (at least, its the same guy).

I named my computer Buster after him smile.gif.

I have time to play for the first time this week so far!!! ZOMG!

No matter how bad the second disc of Xenogears is supposed to be (I didn't reach it yet), I believe it is the best jRPG game I have played so far.

The weather is nice and cool in my corner of the Midwest.

Come on, fall!
Amarysse2007-09-12 18:20:26
Seconded! We've had rain for the past few days, when we'd not seen a drop in months. The temperature's perfect; I've been leaving windows and doors open 24/7. cloud9.gif

I also found the song I want played for the first dance at my wedding (whenever it is): Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me To The End Of Love" as performed by The Dresden Dolls.

Also -amazing- weather here in Lexington, Kentucky.

Been the perfect temperature all day long, with clear blue skies and the kind of sunshine that makes everything more beautiful.

Very nice here too

In two hours and twenty-two minutes, I get to go poke people with metal sticks. confetti.gif

Not that I'm excited or anything.

Are you a MA or PA? blink.gif

And I saw 300 the other day. It was so great, I haven't laughed so hard in a while!

I have no idea what those stand for. I joined the school's fencing team on a whim. Today was the first practice.

Oooooh, I thought you meant poke people with needles! MA = medical assistant, PA = physician's assistant. Guh, I feel stupid.

Guitar Hero is a pretty cool game. smile.gif
Simimi2007-09-15 14:29:18
a friend of mine did some research on yoyos... They bought me a Lyn Fury (my personal fav design) and died it pink and white, and put some stylized wildstyle graffiti 'S' caps in it, they put a KonKave ceramic bearing in it, and topped it off with my favourite YoYoNation Highlights pink string...

I am literally crying right now, after having cried on them for a few mins too. This is the sweetest, most thoughtful gift I have ever had, because I was so sad about my broken yoyos...

I'm going back to school in a few days! cheer.gif

It's hard to believe that this is a rave and not a rant, but it's been a long summer break. What can I say?
Furien2007-09-18 03:55:30
I wub.gif my friends, so, so so so much. They recently learned that my education in the basic parts of math is extremely gapped, and they've been helping me out every night with that and my homework.

And my parents, for once, seem to actually believe I function a lot better doing it and other homework around 8-9 PM than I did when getting right home from school. Woohoo!

(..Which reminds me, I've forgotten to print out my English essay for probably two days now. <3 you, Forums!)
