I was being sarcastic, Malarious, so I'm not really that offended that you ignored my post.

Does Xanon still count as a "current" fighter, or has he officially disappeared? If he stayed around a bit longer, he would make it in.

Besides the fact that I have never heard that word in my life...
This doesn't necessarily mean amazing 1-on-1 fighters (though if he actually got a system, I would be scared of him). Krellan got his place in my list because he is one of the most dangerous group fighters around, and he is fairly good at strategizing and leading a team. He may not be amazing 1-on-1, but I would still place him in the top 10 overall.
It says something that he is mostly manual and he doesn't die any more than he does. He has to have some OOC skill of some sort to accomplish that. If he ever got a healing system, he would destroy people.

what's a hurfaterf? yeah and I don't one on one. I tried with Kaervas a handful of times and he's beaten me every time. convinced me to learn how to make echos though and I made my first for the deathsong he's always killed me with. I beat Narsrim once though! That was pretty exciting. THe current narsrim anyhow, as his aqua TK.

You're right, Krellan doesn't do 1v1. But he's reasonably good at raiding, solo or in a group. Even if he runs a bit much.
EDIT: To be honest, everything right of Geb was me searching for names.

Here is my list short list. It is not in any particular order, and is based on who I have faced one on one.
Thoros- He was great as a Celestine and is now great as a Nihilist. Each time I fight him, I find a new weakness in my defense that needs to be shored up. So each fight is a learning experience. He is the type of fighter that you do not give any leeway, or you will find yourself dead in a most ignominious manner.
Shamarah- He reminds me of Thoros in some ways, with his ability to be creative and force me to think outside of the box to deal with his attacks. He has also been pretty good in every archetype I've seen him in, so my decision is not just based on his ability as a Night using Shadowdancer.
Forren- The power of Demi-god + Telepathy added with very good healing, allowing him to advantage of that combination making him very potent.
Narsrim- He is very creative with his abilities, and is also able to see possibilities with them where the average person may not. He studies his abilities well, and pretty much knows what he can do and what can be done against him most of the time.
Amaru- Was very good as a Celestine in the old days.
Terenas- A very creative warrior back in the beginning. I know him from other realms too, and his style of combat would wear a target down until the person was unable to fight back any longer.
Alger- Also a very good warrior who thought outside of the box, using arm-locks to defeat opponents.
Daevos- He is a very methodical fighter. He seems to do things by the numbers. 90% of the time it leads him to victory.
Murphy- Knows his skills well, and uses them to great benefit. He did very well for himself as a Bonecrusher and Nihilist.
Tuek- He is a very dangerous Moondancer. He has a high level of survivability, with also very good use of Hexes and later on Astrology.

I would think Alger and Terenas would be a lot higher to the top of the list. But I guess since many people haven't seen them fight, they wouldn't know how devastating they could be.
Terenas: Could punk most anyone as a BM/Moonie, the way he set up aeons and slitlocks were nasty.
Alger: Could do the mysterious ghostlock, making someone ghost, then become stuck in ghost form until their willpower drained. He also was the main person involved with getting alot of tracking stuff nerfed. He thought outside of the box, came up with ideas and when they were successful, they were devastatingly successful. The man was just good. Just ask Murphy.
Actually wish Terenas was around to train Serenwilde how to work well in Choke, and I always miss Alger and Jady, they were lots of fun, and down to earth people.

clearly, Diamante should also make Terenas come back!
Diamante2007-07-27 05:31:17
You mean Alger, since he, myself and Jadryga eloped to Armageddon.

I think that is what he meant, since Terenas has eloped himself to Imperian.

but I want a Seren fighter to come back
You might as well just bring Tuek back too!

I'm a sad Tae'dae now, expected to have more mentions, guess I need to start raiding and killing again.
My list: Daevos, Forren, Thoros, Geb.
No one else is really a challenge.
Other decent fighters: Narsrim, Ixion, Diamante, Murphy, Krellan, Tuek

Thats 'cause you only kill noobs when no one is within reach, and run away whenever someone more then 50% of your might shows up to defend.

Haha, well. Someone had to say it. Slit-throat on first hit? Cubiiiiiiix. Also, does everyone on your "challenging" list have a cubix? That might explain it a bit.

Thoros doesn't either.
