um why not? trueheal off balance/eq saves lives in astral. numen? constant numen would be sweet.

Numen costs power and is far from permanent, though it's admittedly nice for burning power to link. Same with trueheal. Guardians have sucky bashing abilities and fewer utility abilities (or fewer damage-reducing, they have plenty of travelling abilities).

Also, guardians, not Celestines.

if you want trueheal and hallowedground, you might as well go paladin with numbness and better speed and tankiness. not to mention guardian attacks are extremely boring... at least as a knight you can conjure up images of all the different dismembered bodies you must be leaving around.

the best class, assuming you don't mind posting up on astral and letting swarms come to you, is definitely night ebonguard. without that fact, i likely wouldn't even be close to demi

i started late and was deffing up all through it, and wasn't yet a demigod, and am nowhere near the speedcap like you would be for a MD. that being said, you're right in that you could still hunt faster than me, though if i was a BC or BM with speed i bet it would turn in my favor

Human Ebonguard Night. I made 7% at Titan yesterday, without trying too much.

What do you all think about human geomancers?

Decent. Good offense, bad (no telekinesis) to average (telekinesis) defense.

They get staffcast, which is one of the stronger PvE attacks, but defense-wise they only got Stoneskin, Greatrobes, Psiarmour/Biofeedback for Psionicists and additionaly ForceField for Telekinetists. Average CON, too.

How do monks fare as a PvE archetype? I heard they're not bad.

I initially thought it was much worse since I seem to be like half as tanky as I was as a Moondancer, but our actual bashing speed is a bit faster. That may or may not be skewed by the fact we get 3 hits with crits to work with and I'm a titan though.

A number of people have said Mugwump Cacaphony would be good. I need to make a switch to a guild that will let me bash easily, and keep me playing, because I'm terribly bored at the moment.

I guess my biggest problem is...and it's with all IRE realms it seems...is that I get so bored hunting...I want to make demigod...but it's like...so teadious.

Any suggestions?

*EDIT* And I'm not exactly the type of person that can figure out quests to quickly and easily. So if you suggest questing...that just drives me hunts. I get frustrated to quick with them. Unless you got tips on how to figure them out. But I don't want any answers to quests.

If you want demigod, you're going to have to put up with tedious. End of story.

If you get bored while hunting, bets are you won't reach Demigod/Titan. Sorry.

Might want to give the monk a shot. Nejii said he's slightly better than a Moondancer (not saying much, Moondancers are good but not the best at PvE), but from what I know their offense is automatic - you initialise a combo of katas and just wait. Of course, you still have to drink health and crap like that.


EDIT: Quests. Okay. Here are two tips:
1. Figure out what the village quest is about. What you have to do. Easiest way is to find the "boss" and greet him until your fingers bleed.
2. Find for "secret" items. They are located in the quest-related area of the village - chateau in Delport, mansion in Paavik, etc. PROBE items you see in the room's description - not on INFO HERE, the description. Once you find these items, PUSH, PULL, TURN, OPEN, TOUCH, LOOK IN them to find stuff. Work with the stuff you find.

Either Moondancers are incredibly good or Human Monks have awful stats, because I'm doing ridiculously well as a krokani.



Not quite true. I don't know what it was intended to be, but it only auto-attacks once (after you recover balance from your first form). The recovery time is great, though (about 5-6 seconds for two forms).

Unless I'm doing it wrong...

It can auto-attack for as long as you inserted forms into the kata (the syntax I just used may be off). But most enemies won't let you keep going that long unhindered.
