Few good books I read recently:
Sergey Lukyanenko: Night Watch, Twilight Watch, Last Watch. Still missing Day Watch, the edition that interests me will be out in a year.
Andreas Eschbach: Die Haarteppichknupfer (Yeah, german ftw). Translated to simple The Carpet Makers. Resolution of the story is quite shocking, I must admit. Also, Das Jesus Video (Jesus Video) by the same author is a good one as well.
I began reading Vellum by Hal Duncan. His style seems similar to Neil Gaiman's, and the story reminds me of American Gods. I hope it lives up to my expectations, because I already have the second one (Ink) ready (it is a dylogy called Book of All Hours).
Also, Java Concurrency in Practice from Addison-Wesley, but that hardly counts.

You know, because I hate myself.

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
Very good book so far. Gritty, real, and political--very cool things to have set in the world of Oz.

Let me see, I am currently reading They Poured Fire on Us from the Sky by Benson and Alephonsion Deng and Benjamin Ajak. It is the true account of three Sudanese Lost Boys -- and I constantly find myself astounded because I read the book as if it was fiction and then I get hit with the fact that it is real.
On my reading list I also have:
1.) The Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu
2.) The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
3.) Kissing Doorknobs by Terry Spencer Hesser
4.) And lastly, Reviving Ophelia: Saving the Selves of Adolescent Girls by Mary Pipher
The last is for a class at school -- but I am hoping that it will be good enough to keep my attention.
