Ewwww, spec mugwump.
Unknown2007-07-25 22:29:38
I think kephera taking the harmony spec and illithoid taking the worm-whatever-spec could specialize... that was Celest / Seren and Mag / Glom would have the same spec races but it makes sense from the rp point of view like that.
Both Celest and Seren learned monk skilsl from the kephera. Why shouldn't kephera becoming monks be more proficent than any other race? The other races specalize because they are deeply rooted in their city / commune. The kephera and illithoid would specialize because their entire race has studied these arts for a long time. It makes sense.. or am I the only one thinking so?

celest is just as likely to get krokani as it is likely to get mugwump, there are ties between paavik and celest.

Eh instead of giving every org 2 spec races I'd be fine if every -guild- had one race that specs for them. Whatever race that is..

See, the thing is, both those races are already pretty great races for monks. Almost as if they were specs already.

Aslaran Spiritsingers?
Eh. Doesn't really fit. Only notable Aslaran we've had is Yini.

You are missing the whole history of Aslaran RP which was pretty big in Serenwilde. Spirits, and prides, and groups etc.
but whats a better guild for the aslarans? I was trying to find atleast one guild for each race.
Unknown2007-07-26 00:33:01
Black Talon spec race should be elfen considering Brennan and all. Its just a natural fit for Serenwilde to have spec faeling and for Glomdoring to have spec Elfen. Glomdoring especially should have spec elfen because they didn't run away like the centaur or get on Rowena's bad side like the fae. Both Communes should specs for both races.

sounds cool but it's so useless. Best fighting as I said for all wiccans and guardians and bards go to mugwump. That's 8 guilds though with one possible on par exception for SD healer. I think a faeling might be as good or even better than a mugwump there.
Ildaudid2007-07-26 06:02:33
Too bad Viscanti is a horrible race even when spec'd

If you're trying to engineer it race-down instead of guild-down, Aslaran seem like more of a Serenguard thing to me.
Seems like it was organised guild-down in practice though.
Jitwix2007-07-26 10:11:56
Aslarans are going to be the race spec of Jojobo. And they will be furrikin-eaters.
