So, yeah, you can brainbash on pulp, but due to it taking a LOT of wounds (that was a maneuver specifically for bashbrain), it's easier to use crushes.

Actually Bonecrusher wounds are in general very strange.

Some things which the AB file says jab is actually a swing and visa versa. It has always bothered me.

Yet another reason why BMs suck monkey behind. Beheads were specifically disallowed on haymakers, yet you can pulp bashbrains.

You might want to go back and test that with full critical wounds. I was able to do it as a BM and that was only 2-3 months ago.

If so then it was a bug or stealth major change. I remember it was specifically changed quite a few months ago to disallow beheads. We were all pretty ticked off about it too.

Anyhow, I'll test it out.

It's a bug because the AB files specifically say a Pulp is jabs and Bashbrain is a swing wound.

I'm 99.9% sure that you cannot Behead on a Haymaker. Tested it somewhat recently and with wounds well over 10,000, it didn't happen.

Haven't tested yet but yes, haymaker is a swing wound but it has an exception of behead.


The pulp AB file is wrong, TYPO it. It's always been a swing.

Aha! Right you are. Thanks for clearing that up. I haven't used Pulp in a few decades (prefer Crush), so I never really noticed that it's swings. I wouldn't mind if it was jabs, though...

Edit: Perhaps the biggest nerf to damage warriors was the stealth major change (which they say they don't like doing but it happened anyway) to lunge/crush. *Sad panda face*
