Noooo don't make it break.
It needs to break, unless it's an expensive, very rare, auction-only artifact. Otherwise, it's too open to abuse. I can easily imagine people using it to get older, adopt half the Basin, and then drop their age to be a giggling 16-year old forever. It's not meant specifically for the creation of families, though it works well to facilitate such arrangements. The idea that it's breakable is meant to reflect that it's supposed to be (much like the gender-switching bubble) a permanent change- not an illusion altered on a whim.

How about something like this:
Silver Cord of Familial Paradox:
Lets you, the player, dictate a familial relationship outside the "normal" regulations of the family system. Example: Allowing two characters to be siblings even if one is already married.

That is categorically a bad idea, and one need only look at Achaea's family "trees" to see why.

Oh, something nice that cities/communes could buy!
Merchants Directory-
Can be placed at an entrance to the organization's general 'shopping district'. Visitors can SHOP SEARCH item to be told which shop name has the item for sale. (Similar to the Manse PORTAL SEARCH SHOPS- )

A very expensive artifacts that lets you switch out a single guildskill once per IG month.
So, say you were a Trans Blademaster, you could use this artifact to instantly switch to trans Bonecrusher. Or say you're a mage and your city needs new statues enchanted but there are no runists? Poof. Go from being a telepath to a Runist.
It wouldn't prevent people from losing credits from guildhopping, but it would allow someone to jump around within their own guild skills. Have it be 2000 credits like the Cameo, and the game itself wouldn't really lose money from the lack of a need to buy credits to switch skills within your own guild.

I vote no on that one. The last thing I want is people being able to use anything they want, whenever they want, for any situation they want.
There is a -reason- they make us choose. Being able to switch would cheapen everything, methinks.

Except that its not anything they want whenever they want for any situation they want. If you can only switch once every IRL day, or once every 6 IRL days, that's not exactly "anytime, anywhere, anyhow."

why have an artifact for something that is already possible, forget skill, convert x credits to lessons, lessonpool transfer, learn from teacher
simimi: people already do that, there are a bunch of people that play around with tradeskills to get all the trans benefits.

You wouldn't have to deal with the lesson loss / hastle of relearning, in exchange for a massive credit investment up front.
I'm unsure about the idea, tbh. It'd be nice for allowing envoys to check out any of the skills without burning up lessons...

Recently, it was brought to my attention that it would be useful, in some situations, to be able to switch positions of players (namely, during the scavenger hunt). And thus, I propose the following:
Displacement Orb - allows you to displace yourself with another player, anywhere on the same plane (making it same continent-only would, I think, be unnecessary...). The timer should be longer than a normal teleport (though shorter than a Nexus-teleport), to avoid it being used as a method to escape combat (and thusly throw a scapegoat into the fray). It shouldn't be too expensive (20-40 creds), as it's mainly intended to be an artifact-for-fun, and useful in some situations.
EDIT: Actually, I guess it could be more expensive, as it would basically allow normal people to have the guild artifact power...
Hope I don't get flamed on how useless that would be.

Good idea! Though, I think it'd be better if the target had to have had the person displacing allied. Prevents people from unwarily pulled into a group of ten enemies and slaughtered

Hmm, very good point, I overlooked that it could be used as an ambushing device... Thanks.
EDIT: Another thing, I'd just like to point out that wave-tumbling in the seas is pretty much the only thing I despise in Lusternia. Please make a counter-artifact for that.

Don't know if they're still doing this after the auction, but here are some ideas:
(The Leprechaun Pouch)
A pouch that stores gold for the person, and only the owner can take gold from the pouch. Non-forceable.
(Gauntlets of Tzaraziko)
Conceals what the person is wielding
(Pendant of Shadows)
Wearer is immune to the ability of APPRAISE

An artifact that allows sprinting, even though you can get it from a skill. Maybe even over water...
