I saw the title of the thread and thought someone was talking about the Viravain/Ayridion mudsex I keep being told about

No amount of therapy will ever erase that image from my mind...

MORGFYRE IN A THONG!

I loathe you for that.
Aramel2007-08-05 03:54:36
I think they were talking about it on shouts a few weeks ago.

Edit: Viravain and Ayridion, not Morgfyre! >.<

I am just coming back from Nightshift, and watching the sun go up, so I'll just use a few signs.

I give love to all, just as much as I give loathing....so here's a few things for a few Divine that have interacted (or Jasato heard via shouts) and the Divine I give props too...

First one overall was Isune. First Divine to ever speak to Jasato, even help him along in a few thought processes over the "years" of his development. If She saw him now, She'd probably ask.."What the Nil happened to you? Your OOOOOLD"...or something like that sad.gif

Ayridion - Lets face it, Just cause Jasato's in His Order, doesn't mean there wasn't reason. We all have reasons, and for once in all my time, putting Jasato in His Order was probably the best thing to happen. All the conversations and the morale boosting of being a Healer was the bomb. Love the Auras by the way...

Terentia - Because hey, nothing says loving then the Even Blade swishing clean through your chest when doing a jewelry order. What other Divine lets you see their favored weapon by using it on you then resurrecting you? And who wouldn't give to take a trip to some random location, only to find yourself back where you started? Those random things are great, for that, I give thanks.

Elostian - Face it, Lusternia's Ninja. I don't care what ANYONE thinks, He IS Lusternia's GREATEST Ninja. He can pop up and throw cryptic things at you and leave you paralyzed in wonder, all the while sneaking away with a chuckle. I may follow Ayridion....but Elostian has to be my idol of sorts...I wanna do stuff like that....

Morgfyre - I know NOTHING about Him. Why do I comment? Not just cause of His new position (which, congrats all the way, by the way) but also, for making Jasato's blood boil just by simply giving a shout or two about "Enlightenment". Jasato is all for "equal opportunity" when he can...but those that are staunchly against what he believes (i.e. killing that which he holds dear and protects), and hearing one of the Patrons of said "Polar Opposite" city speaking of enlightenment...you've got to throw credit. I like to say that Jas can keep his head cool in most situations...but to completely change a mindset from passive to wanting to explode just on a shout or two...wow. I give the two thumbs way up.

Viravain - I vaguely remember much for Her. Though I got to admit, She's funny. Not much to say, though a few words exchanged here and there to keep a happy goddess from bolting you with random commentary -and- to brighten Her mood, takes alot of work, lemme tell ya.

Charune - Honestly...I just wanted to say that I've heard some things. Plus, that log I have from a while back of Valarien singing that "song" about the cow tipping bit...that was funny. I was even more impressed that He didn't bolt him...that takes one heck of a sense of humor. Then again...I couldn't stop laughing...

Overall, I give props to -ALL- Divine for not only the great job on the game, but for one awesome thing....

YOU GUYS GET ALL THE AWESOME ENTRANCES!...

I want one... sad.gif
Arel2007-08-05 04:40:38
Viravain has teh awesome cookies. <3
Unknown2007-08-05 04:53:07
Morgfyre for his awesomeness with the Nihilists, Magnagora, and for having such a great enterance thingy

Veravain for giving me a jellybean, and the deathsight involving honeycakes

Ayridion for occurences and giving something for Othero to hate. He will still use Soll in pure disgust

And all the other gods for a game that still hasn't driven me away. Most do.
Yevah2007-08-05 04:59:40
Elostian; for his amusing conversations with Arel, having a sense of humour, and generally being a nice God.
Viravain; for Viratyke, for candy, and for her relationship with Ayridion.
Terentia; for scaring the Nil out of Yevah every time She comes to the First World to zap someone. hide.gif

Arel2007-08-05 05:10:28
I just love Viravain.
Arix2007-08-05 05:19:25
Morgfyre, for not wearing a thong
Roark, for mostly the same reason
Reiha2007-08-05 05:34:37
<3 Morgfyre just because. And he put Reiha back in the order (this was the frist time, shortly after quiting Archmage) when she didn't even ask, and forgave her out of the blue... unsure.gif ohmy.gif
Acrune2007-08-05 05:43:01
Terentia for providing motivation to beat down some tainted scum, and for being fun to talk to in the order, and helping me meet snowmen, and for never killing me so far happy.gif
Isune for being a lot of fun to talk to, and she was so cute! Wish she didn't go away.
Viravain for being fun to talk to while guiding, and being quite amusing on forums and various things she's been quoted as doing.
Diamondais2007-08-05 15:45:21
Isune for her talk about Right and Wrong with Diamondais when She was being called Whisp.

Ayridion for the whole deal with the Eye of Dylara. I'll never forgot that. laugh.gif

And Charune, from trying to show me up by having a louder horn to gold plated deer to attempting to take the other eye. Definitely my favourite. wub.gif

Viravain and Elostian.

No specific reasons. halo.gif
Unknown2007-08-05 20:36:10
Morgfyre: Because of his awesome entrance and the fact he actually replies to you and talks on OTO. And for having an awesomely cool symbol: <3 ouroboros. Plus, his order is just friggin' awesome. I love the fact its a cult and all the rituals and shadows.

Any admin who puts time & effort into this game gets my thanks. Despite my crabbiness I really do enjoy it. You wont find this active and quality of staffing on any other text game.

I miss the very first Raezon. He had a wicked funny mean streak in game and was a heck of a lot of fun to verbally spar with. He plagued me once and gave out a few good punishments for being mouthy.

I still have not found a Divine that syncs with my character in game. I'm hoping if Glom ever gets a brand new Divien it will fit with in my character concept.

Every god (adming and rp god) for putting up with us players. Probably takes a lot of patience and nerves more often than not. ^^

Special wub.gif to everyone dealing with monk stuff. I've been really impressed so far how much testing / changes were done just to make sure the skills turn out balanced and fun.

First, some generic love for the Divine in general. Investing yourself in a project like this is bound to be time-consuming and fraught with difficulties and irritations. Exposing yourself to the amount of criticism that you do requires a certain variety of courage, tolerance, and belief in what you're doing that isn't of the garden variety. I know I have at times been a part of that critique, and I don't want that to obscure the fact that although I do not always agree with a particular action or decision, I respect all of you for what you do, the level of work you put in, and the emotional ramifications that come from putting some of yourself into the project rather than it being just a "job."

Second, some more specific love for Estarra and the et al responsible for Glomdoring in general. It's one of the most unique concepts of any IRE game, or possibly any game or entity in the fantasy-genre. It's an enormous part of why I decided to play Lusternia to begin with. I realize its existence hasn't always made your lives easy, but it is a great, deep concept that has provided a framework for some real brilliance from both admins and players, and the tensions that have come out of that relationship probably have more to do with the clash of immense creative energies, visions, and investment - which is probably a backhanded tribute to the depth you've managed to found with Glomdoring.

Finally, I would be seriously remiss if I said nothing about Viravain. Like Glomdoring, I was quite taken with the "idea" of Viravain before I even started playing Lusternia, and certainly before her reincarnation. Viravain has been one of the most definitive factors in Xinemus' life in both big and small ways and provided a very fun and creative outlet for his zealot tendencies. Like any god-to-prophet relationship worth writing about, we've had ups and downs, we haven't always agreed, etc. But ICly, I can no longer imagine Xin as a character without Viravain, and OOCly, you deserve a much, much better OH than what you've got. You have invested a lot in my "game life" in Lusternia, and whether that investment at any given time is going well or driving you nuts, it means a lot to me.

And if the ol, "Watch me make flames appear out of THIN AIR!" trick (sorry Ayridion) begins to lose its luster for Viravain, she always has, in a shadowy, forgotten niche of the forest, somewhere, a delusional OH who is only halfway decent at it on his better days who loves her with all his little, faeling heart.

To add more about Viravain the concept not the various players of.

I loved the very first Viravain of the Summer Song. In my opinion the very first Viravain was the most tragic and the most terrifying of the lot. If you look at the physical description of Viravain now and after the Kethuru events you pretty much get what you expect. The Summer Song Viravain was this innocent seeming beautiful goddess of nature and creation. All it required though was 5 minutes of conversation with her to realise she was broken. Mentally and emotionally she came across as scarred in the most psychologically dangerous way. Like a child who kills a puppy, kitten, even a baby sibling from squeezing it too hard with genuine affection. The child cries until a new object takes over her attention which she then procedes to love to death and the process repeats over and over. She reminds me of the episode of the Twilight Zone with the young boy who wanted every one in town to love him and if they didn't he'd send them away or set them on fire. As soon as the offenders were dead or gone he'd go back to being a love starved little kid completely oblivious of the horror he had inflicted.
