oh, there are definitely political lines drawn in the sand within glomdoring. even if you aren't trying to look for them, you stumble across them eventually. politics are messed up everywhere, and quite possibly the dumbest reason ever to get upset and frustrated tho. lusternia has a bad habit of offering you oh so many better ways to walk away from the computer grumbling
hyrtakos bumped heads with shayle a few times in his younger years, and even had her ready to storm out of a court meeting once, but he quickly learned it to be a much better course of action to just go with the flow a la what ashteru was saying. just sit back and relax and laugh when things like this happen.
i know what it's like to have people go out of their way to influence as many people as they can to think poorly of you and do whatever they can to ruin your experience in an effort to get you to quit (not shayle. i have much love for shayle!). just laugh at them and hope people put two and two together and know why people act the way they do
there's always people around that will get to know you for you and you can build up a reputation with the people that matter to you. if you want to become a political powerhouse in glom -- it doesn't look likely right now but i see no reason you can't get ahead of the curve and find a place to enjoy yourself. i became champion without a lick of combat skill really, so don't think the underdogs don't come through in glom ever.

Glomdoring is very RP-centric, and as such, you can feel like you're being picked on or whatever because the atmosphere's very intense at times.
Shayle's a mixed bag. Some people love her, some people hate her (and to be fair I can see why, she's scary!).
But although I've had my arguments with her, I still
her because she's awesome for the Glommy RP.
