Enrage is just a normal +2 buff, and if the Str Enhance is, too, then it would only be +3 weighted. Isn't dexterity at all important?

Enrage and str enhancement would be weighted, you would only get +3 str total. You could still use +2str from enrage and +2dex from enhancement. I always use dex enhancement and geburah, so I get the biggest bonus.

Krokani is apretty solid race for warriors, and i would imagine monks too.

the int is a REAL bitch though, i have 10 due to lich, and i get mana killed quite quickly it's disgusting.

Taurian is a bad race all around. really and for the last time i hope stop weighing Enrage into your taurian rock calculations... it lasts on avarage about 60 seconds before you have to recast at endurace loss 1-200 and eq loss of about 10-15 seconds its not even great it gives you plus 2 weight not plus 3 weight. and for a monk they are probably one of the last choices id pick.. -cries as he admits this- maybe with this fix they will seem better though with their averagish stats.

and please before you start telling me they are great and blah play one for a month and than say it.?

I wish Illithoid were a more viable race for monks. They seem so fun.

when I am taurian I have enrage on a trigger when it goes down before any actions while bashing I re enrage and it doesnt take 10-15 seconds to get equil/balance back while enraging.

Honestly Taurains biggest downfall is the level 2 magic disadvantage, but now if it is inside the weighted areas (I dont think it is so this probably wont work) but if it is, it could be a bit better.

The cutting and blunt is great also, you will see some cosmic taurians, who become uber tanky due to this also, now they do not hit hard with blast, but they can afflict kill you quick enough so no worries with them there.

I'm pretty sure they will be once the secondary skill for Glom and Mag monks is introduced.

I think loboshigaru is best, knowing from experience. I have racial regen, enchantment regen, psychometabolism regen, and the 3-fold harmony regen. That's roughly 800-900 regeneration at level 55. Plus, they have a decent strength and dexterity, plus the resistances. Magic can be taken care of with psionics and greatrobes.

I'm under the impression that the discussion so far is focused on PvP usefulness. Any suggestions on a good monk race for bashing only?

I'm leaning towards kephera since I hear damage resistance is more useful than strength for bashing, but I'll listen to other advice if anyone has any.
