Yep its another of my famous, what to envoy topics!
Rules are the same
1) No insults and personal attacks
2) Keep on topic
3) Be serious (No 2 second instakills)
4) Dont post on a bug knowingly
5) Be specific! I dont want something like the following:
I want that skill in Night that afflicts to be usable with spring in lowmagic so I can destroy all defenses...
That doesnt say what skill to affect, thats too powerful most likely, and doesnt say all conditions (might need spring 3 times, etc)
Soooo go head and be productive! If its something worth looking at will see bout envoying it or refering to someone else to.

...what are you talking about?
Rika2007-08-13 06:09:07
I think it's when you can say what skills you want?
Unknown2007-08-13 06:10:12
I think he wants envoy suggestions.
Hyrtakos2007-08-13 06:55:36
how about making regeneration afflictions not curable by allheale?
EDIT: or more likely... making phlegmatic always cure aeon first

YES
Forren2007-08-13 17:05:39
Uh....What?
No on regeneration cures not working with allheale - if you cure with allheale, you lose allheale balance. It's a fair tradeoff I think.
Phlegmatic curing aeon first - no, it's fine as is. Powersink can be used to delay aeon curing, which I think is fine.

i was mostly joking when i mention the regeneration/allheale bit, but calling allheale balance "fair" when that balance length is the same for curing a chopped off leg as it is for curing a cut artery.... is a bit of a stretch. how about a longer loss of allheale balance when curing regeneration afflictions?
and as for the phlegmatic, i can understand powersink and perhaps such tactics could keep this affliction out of oblivion. shyness and stuff tho? meh...

Isn't allheale balance 20 seconds or so? Regeneration is 4.
Hyrtakos2007-08-13 18:32:13
i was suggesting something like making it 24 seconds in the case of regeneration cures then. you still get the benefits of the immediate cure, yet you suffer a little on the tail end. i think it's safe to say it'd still be worth drinking, but you don't entirely escape the fact that you got beat on to the point of needing regeneration.
still "sip allheale;stand;parry criticalbodypart 100" or you can run easily
just maybe let the attacker get in one more round of combat before you can use it again - normally
EDIT: crow's eyepeck is a joke. this might make it at least a -little- more viable

It's silly, considering you don't choose what you cure with allheale. I could just as easily cure fear (happens to me all the time) rather than a mangled limb. Also - doesn't sipping allheale on an amputated limb result in a mangled limb? You still cause them bleeding + prone + downed cure time. It's fine.

Eyepeck's not a joke for dreamweavers, but that change would make it nicer for everyone else.
Furien2007-08-13 20:03:56
Something to nerf Mugwump Glamours and Cantors.

Nerf monks kthxbai.

I want to beable to walk on water as a ghost again, also not be affected by putrefaction when in ghost.
Also I would like slice thigh to have a higher percentage of working. Ill think of more.

Have Campfire skill, actually heal some amount of health per tick and a greater amount of willpower each tick. It needs to also be noted that this will work on everyone in the room, not allies only(in case somebody would try to slip that in ). That way you are making a decision to heal your enemies as well as your allies if you were to build a campfire during say wildnodes where a group fight may take place.
(not so serious one) Tent - Should work in more areas than it does now. I wanna have a campout with people on Capricorn

Yes, this is a 'Can you Envoy' topic..
So current requests are (not saying they are going in):
-Make campfire give some health and more willpower per tick
-Make tents able to be put up in more places
-Make allheale not cure regeneration cures (or have some backlash on it)

Actually take out tents, and put in:
Make swiftswim work when you dive. Not just when you go down the normal way.

It does, Ild. I think you mean the following:
Allow swiftswim (only if you have waterwalk up too) to let you walk underwater without SWIMing.
As it stands now, I can sprint underwater but not walk. /lame
