Not that I expect there to be a lot of baseball fans around here but the Scooter Phil Rizzuto died today. I grew up watching the Yanks with my father and listening to the Scooter call the games with his distinctive style.

Ouch. That stinks. Hope he has a peaceful afterlife, he deserves it. He was a great announcer, I'll tell ya.

And EEWWW! Yankees! GO RED SOX!!

Sadly, I was never a big sports fan.

I do remember the countless advertisements for "The Money Store" that he used to do, and that's how I remember him.
