Are you kidding me? Bards are not hard to fight. If your system automatically pauses because of certain illusions then fix it, turn off the afflict line for that fight or something. Simple and you people about it. You don't have to reset Palisade just simple DIAGNOSE and it's like "Oh hey, I'm not REALLY afflicted with that." then it goes back to what it's doing. You are too damn over dramatic about . Bard damage is Minimal and on top of that, I can't say I've ever really had complaints about Bard damage unless it's, for example, an Acrune combined with a Narsrim staff which hurts like crazy. It's not hard to writhe from transfix, I really don't see why that's even an issue. On the note of alts, I would imagine the point of making an alt is to get away from all the you get on your main and just because you know who someone's alt is doesn't mean you need to go run your mouth about it just because some little novice hands you your ass.

I think Bard damage could be toned down. And it could be made to be based on charisma instead of intelligence.

See, if you'll notice - IT DOESN'T PAUSE THE SYSTEM. There are clunky aliases to take care of that, but purposely attempting to crash a system, rather than just mucking it up royally? Go yourself. I don't care if I get beaten, it happens on a constant basis anyway. Usually by things more embarassing than a novice bard.

You can thank Kaervas for that. He got some awesome changes that moved Harbingers from the worst bards to maybe 2nd? I don't really know the cacophony much.

Harbingers have definitely moved up from the Ninth Circle of Hell. That position now respectively belongs to the Shofangi. >.>

EDIT: Spiritsingers are alright. Wildarrane just has zero synergy with the rest of their skills. You'd be better with Ecology than Glamours, which.. is meh to most people. Though Glamours has a skill that can make you tired too. Pixiedust is just -way- better for it.

Toning down bard damage would really be nice... It just seems wrong rp wise to have them do really insane damage, plus they get to have real nice afflictions already (given they take glamours, and honestly who doesnt lately?).

Glamours needs adjustment, yea. Music is a fine skillset, there are only two changes that should be made: Less base MinorSecond damage, and DischordantChord doing something significant.
