Count bashing out, because I can't even attack before the mob reshields in lag. Ridiculous. Count PvP out because I can't time anything with anything close to finesse in this lag. Group combat is just STAFF STAFF LUNGE LUNGE and umm, I guess SHIELD for Celestines cause I'm not gunna damage kill anyone. Ridiculous

Hmm. Ranges from a 2 to an 8, typically around the 3-4 area. I can deal with it, but it can get crazy.

Yea it's pretty lame. Group combat is nearly impossible. Narsrim's demesne + lag got me killed by Malicia in about 15 seconds. Convential PVP is pretty much unviable, IMO. lag rocks, I was following Revan to the nil raid, I am thinking to myself why is Revan waiting more then 5 minutes on earth, them my screen flashes I have 0 health and could move just in time to lich at the megalith

This is why I'm actually somewhat happy to be forced to focus on political work. Lag (generally) doesn't effect it.

Lag for me ranges from 5 to 10, weighted towards 6. It's ew.

Lag for me, while annoying, is not anything really harmful.

For PvE, it makes little difference to me, since the lag is from the actual server. The mob's as slow as me.

For PvP, I always lag in large groups, so meh.

NOTE: Keeping thousand of messages does not, in fact, make you 'cool'. It makes you a demon that's lagging the rest of us with RM.

I still think that a lot of Lusternian lag is caused by RM.

yeah, i have a script every few minutes it checks my 3200 messages, jumping randomly in numbers like 100 times in a row in an attempt to lag lusternia out. I also have this gagged so i don't see it.

It is. I mean, a while ago me, you, and Ashteru all hit RM at once and lagged the whole server for a good ten seconds.

Yeah, passive lag ents + choke=godly... Murph and I have used it for ages.. Now if only I could get Sojiro's lag hammers too... hrrmmm.

PS: Implementing the lag skill would be terrible to balance. Just try to imagine it! *groan*

The RM thing isn't actually a joke, for those that think it's sarcasm. It can cause a fair bit of lag in the game because the messages are stored in flat files and not a proper SQL database. Achaea went through an overhaul of the messages system a couple years ago, and they said it made quite a difference.

I'm sad that there is no overpowered poll in which to vote. This should be a proper rant in the Idiots! section, no? Anyway, I choose four.
