Back to Common Grounds.

Ah, well, that much is true.

Edit: Oh, and requiem, what about this one? biggrin.gif

Yes, I did clarify with the adjective "true" in there. I know the chromosomes can exist in unusual ways and there can be hermaphroditic humans, but not ones that can have children all on their own.
Inox2007-08-29 22:58:53
Bah. I finally gave in and registered. I still want this changed, though!
Unknown2007-08-29 23:02:40
I dont mean to be rude, but...

Get over yourself.
Inox2007-08-29 23:08:29
Get over myself? This isn't a big deal to you, because (I assume) you fit into the binary. Like I said earlier, if there was no male option for you, would you be willing to register as female?
Unknown2007-08-29 23:11:06
Yes.
Inox2007-08-29 23:15:15
But would you ask for it to be changed?
Stangmar2007-08-29 23:18:22
If i even gave it second thought, i'd be like 'wow, some random group of people that i'll never meet don't know my real gender, oh noes"
Inox2007-08-29 23:19:53
No, my problem is that I can't even register as my real gender.
Unknown2007-08-29 23:20:14
I wouldn't care.

Because it's not a big deal (to me). Look, I understand you're sensitive to things like this. I would be too if I "wasn't of the binary". You have to make some concessions, though. I don't think the Lusternian registration process is the place to make your stand against gender profiling.
Stangmar2007-08-29 23:26:55
Are you actually losing sleep over this?
Inox2007-08-29 23:34:22
I'm not losing sleep over this, but I did put up with the constant " Register now plz" spam for the better part of a week.

At this point, I'd just like to know is if it's even possible to add a third option without making everyone register again.
Unknown2007-08-30 00:14:10
Just pick a censor.gif gender, for the purpose of the registration. It's not like they care that much, and who knows what could happen if you don't register?

Oh, right, character deletion...

Don't you know better than to listen to Wikipedia? tongue.gif It's rare, but possible to have both testicular and ovarian tissue, or XX, XXY, XYY, or XXX chromosomes. Also, chimeras can have patches of genetically male and female tissue.

Yes, but do you?

Based on your picture, register as female. If you're hiding a wang, register as male. This shouldn't be that hard.
Inox2007-08-30 00:52:15
As far as I know, I have normal DNA for my birth sex. My gender identity isn't based on that. And I already have registered. I flipped a coin.

Then I can close this thread since the issue is as much solved as it's going to be.
