Krellan2007-09-01 09:23:37
omg there's now way you just put me in the same category as grieferfish and like above Thoros suicide.gif

yeah and actually once you get zap you have wayy too much fun with it, I can't see it getting old either because it can be customized and unique. we haven't even customized it yet and me and Kharvik used more essence zapping than if we were to die with the old phoenix costs not the old old but the ones before these recent changes. utility and RP flavor abilties for the demi's make them a lot more desirable I think which is why Hyrtakos doesn't like the transporting. I personally only used it to get to seren faster since the closest cubix exit was faethorn and that's a longer walk. I think at least every demigod can enjoy the zap and custom shouting and if they let us get custom auras or at least like a custom I guess you would call it a pose? but it's not really a pose rather than our emanating prescence that makes us all tower even though some of us don't want to tower. but things like that are fun and they tacked on essence costs that seem trivial, but they add on quickly.
Callus2007-09-01 12:26:02
I have to say I like one of the ideas mentioned here - auras (custom would be great). It makes a lot of sense for a Demigod in a group to inspire that group (+1 to certain stats, maybe), but this would need to be non-stackable, as it could easily lead to overpowerment. Though I suppose it does make sense that two Demis inspire more than one, stackability would just be too much. More dead Nil Lords ftl.

EDIT: Though I suppose making Demigods empower the people around them is overpowered in itself. unsure.gif Meh.
Krellan2007-09-01 16:23:05
well that but I was mostly referring to like the way you see us. You see us towering in the room. it'd be awesome if we could customize that and have our own message where you'd feel our presence. Towering just gives me that impression anyways, but I mean Ialie would want be to spilling rainbows everywhere and Nejii just wants to be a tiny furrball

i just realized when the aetherways get fixed, the poor man's cubix is gone sad.gif
Hyrtakos2007-09-01 18:50:34
i think it's obvious the "poor man's" everything is on the way out the door tongue.gif

Well hopefully those silly amulet things that the winners of those contests from January arent permanent, so now Forren can actually be killed, before is was havens away anytime he thought he was in trouble.

I don't know where you've been, but I die quite frequently.

I'm not sure why they'd revoke the Medallions, either - everyone won credits for placing in the top of those events. The Medallions were in place of the credits.
Ixion2007-09-02 07:47:57
The medallions were one of the poorer ideas I've seen to date in Lusternia.

Permanent karma blessings for whichever one you won was much more logical, RPwise and financially for the game.
Clise2007-09-02 09:46:06
Eh there was a huge uproar when Estarra suggested permanent karma blessings. Man, I feel sorry for the admins. NOTHING they do can ever be correct unless everyone benefits.
Shiri2007-09-02 09:58:30
Well, the problem was that we thought 9 permanent karma blessings to the game would be a bit too good considering what the tasks were. One-off things that not everyone can even attend? They'd be better than the actual thing they were competing for, i.e Divinity. We thought people would compete just for the sake of getting the karma blessing without actually wanting to get Divinity.

SO the solution was to make the prizes even -better-, but not to announce them until it was over and done with. It's a bit awkward, and it prevents them from doing it again without people expecting something just as good.

I always imagined that the next time there was a Kethuru-centric event there'd be more events culminating in the medallions passing along. Didn't really think of them as that permanent.
Unknown2007-09-02 10:39:14
No no, the medallions need to consume the person who has them currently, permenantly deleting the character forever, which is why you cant get the 9 original vernals back, isn't that a shame? laugh.gif

Thank you Forren, you have carried the Medallion of Justice for 100 years, now your soul and essence shall be consumed for the next wielder, goodbye!
Hyrtakos2007-09-02 11:20:11
he -is- the weakest link?
