Tutorials are much more compulsory than lectures at my university. That's where they take the roll, anyway.

I'm majoring in English Literature, minoring in Philosophy. I'm weighing up between teaching and writing full-time at the moment. One of my mum's friends owns an advertising firm in Melbourne, and I'll be visiting her in December to learn a bit about that.

Well, I'm in the British camp here too, so no majors or minors, and anyway I'm doing mine part time so it is a bit different. But considering my current and future modules I suppose mine is a Physics major with a minor in Maths and I am strongly considering a minor in German as well.

While 3D animation is certainly getting most of the spotlight recently and 2D animation is getting rarer and rarer...I think I'd have more fun working on 2D animation. Especially on stuff like Avatar happy.gif But I can't afford school, so it's a dream for another lifetime dry.gif

You don't have a community college near you?

I've had some great classes there for about $11 a unit, which means roughly $33 a class.
Forren2007-09-07 15:48:26

Forren's sick? We all know that his justice is criminal, too. Psionicology FTW!

I'm double degreeing in Computer Science and Anthropology (with Archaeology as my focus). I thought about double majoring with Math instead, but then I realized that might actually be useful in a CS-related career and I certainly don't want THAT!

Same school as Forren (OH WEIRD!)

Yeah don't ask.

I went from English -> Business -> Undecided -> Psychology -> Undecided again. All in the span of one year.

So yeah... I have about 12 credits done that I probably don't need, but I guess they don't hurt either...

There are three other Lusternians at UMD too... it's weird seeing them drunk, let me just put it that way.
Veonira2007-09-11 12:44:32
wait if it's who I'm thinking of...you've seen them -all- drunk?!

Computer Science with a potential double major in either Theatre (lighting design) or Psychology.

Unknown2007-09-11 16:13:20
Computer Science, specializing in programming.

Currently getting all my pre-requisites out of the way at a community college.

To date, I have not learned a thing at this school. It's like High School with more expensive/better food at their cafeteria.
Luthe2007-09-11 16:52:29

80% turn over so i should be done in 3 years
Arel2007-09-13 14:08:48
Geology with a minor in chem.
Unknown2007-09-13 14:19:44
Does it count if I already finished college?

Psychology with a minor in science. Somehow with that, I ended up as a computer programmer. Go figure.

Aah, I'm transferring over to Seoul National University after my 3rd year here. I'm going to complete my Computer/Electrical Engineering degree and then go for a second BS in Linguistics.

Fun stuff.
