Some people were visted by Ironbeard over 11 times which I thought was insane. Late last night I wasn't online and I ended up with my first and possibly only Ironbeard box, of course it contained some palletes, nothing worth much to me personally.

At the begininng of the whole Ironbeard thing, I was online for 5 days in one week, and never was visited. The following week, 4 days of 7. After that, I gave up on Ironbeard. He seemed to only focus on the same people over and over and over again.

Too bad, I should have played Imperian more during the time he was around, since he seemed to give out cool things there. Illegal venoms (banned from some orgs)

I think Reiha got one with 4000 gold or maybe it was 8000 gold. It was like Ironbeard made one Krokani run and gave her the gold from the run.

Alas in hindsight, I really think the administration should have made it so people were crossed off Ironbeards list when they were visted 2 times. This whole thing of the same people being visited over and over and a few being visted 11 times, well it kind of made me not even want to be around, since it becomes slightly frustrating, knowing that you have played for so damn long, and people in the first week alone were visted 4 times, while you were actually online for 5 RL days out of 7.

He almost seemed to be weighted heavily towards new characters. I started an alt, who was visited three times in the first couple of days (pocketbelt with tints and metals, 6k gold, 18k gold). Drathys was visited only once just the other day (palettes). I've also seen several instances of new characters being visited almost straight out of the portals.

Yes Bali, I got a DoR. Which I traded in after some fuss.

Also got two vials and a set of poisons.

Anything else was sent to me by people who didn't want them.

So the key was to make a noob alt, then wait for the Ironbeard gifts to pour in eh? hehe

First visit gave ~5k gold. Second visit gave a pocketbelt the contents of which I mostly donated to my guild.

1. Artifact Soap (going to trade in for 166 credits and get gloves of harvesting)

3. Pocketbelt with ton of tints and comm gold, and fish, for some reason.
4. spin Bottle, gave it away

I haven't been visited yet, but I thought it must have been quite a rare, lucky occurence, which was fine. Apparently not.

Yeah, since I got my first one the odds of me getting more have -increased-.

I think they took artifacts out of the lineup though.

my noob alt only got one visit and that was after 75 hours of playing time (god I am sad), so don't get your hopes up

Mine got two visits within two days.. Creslin, who would like to collect a present box and vial, has gotten none, despite playing for much longer.

i think it is just a triple random function

So I'm thinking.. Meliana is a good luck charm. She's gotten 12 visits so far and has received, 4 iron vials, platinum, lots of tints, glowing ink, obscene amount of poisons and master pallettes. About 18 visits so far in her presence. I think about 10 of all the visits happened in one of her manses. <3 Ironbeard
