Am I the only one who wonders when the gods are gonna un freeze gaudiguch and Hallifax? So we can play on four more planes of existance?

Yes. You are. The game can barely handle 4 organizations and 18 guilds, let alone 2 more organizations and 6 more guilds.

I don't think anyones ever asked this before...

In summary, not for a while.
Richter2007-09-09 18:56:30
Yes, you're the only one to ever wonder this. It's not like some of us have been playing for three years.
Hazar2007-09-09 19:17:02
Asmoth...the insight, and the foresight, the unprecedented wisdom of your post...it astounds.
Shryke2007-09-09 19:18:56
Wow guys, a little harsh.. But it's true, we don't have enough players to support any new orgs yet... If you want them to come out sooner, get out and coerce people to play!

Every time someone asks this question, the release date gets pushed back two months. sad.gif

By 6, you do mean 10, right?

Some of the divine have intimated that we should not necessarily expect that all of the guilds will be available in the new cities if and when they are released. It makes IC sense that they should be released only with the three guilds that were in existence when they disappeared.

I don't think that Gaudiguch/Hallifax will be unfrozen and turned into player-run organizations any time soon due to a lack of players, as stated by others.

However, I do think it would be neat if they were just unfrozen, but did not become "organizations" in the sense of the word- but kinda like Glomdoring before it became a commune. I wouldn't give either way more than lottery-style odds, though.

Destroy Glomdoring.

Add Hallifax/Gaudiguchi.

Dissolve Nil/Celestia.

Dissolve Ether Glom and Ether Seren.

Change org aesthetics so what they stand for isn't so black and white.

Enter the Age of Aquarius. Aquuuarrrriiusssss!

*dances*

have you been drinking?

Also never release them as cities instead release them as ground zero ruins with lots of zombies and mutants for us to kill

I still sorely remember the release of Glom. The other orgs took the opportunity to beat the censor.gif out of them while they were still weak. This will happen to the new cities, and then there will eventually be meetings for them like the one just held for Glom.

actually I imagine an assault on gaudiguch like this: big griefing group enters from the road, big griefing group dies in lava field

assault on hallifax: big army marches into hallifax, big army is lost in the void because of some fancy telepertation device

Actually what I wonder is will these cities only have on entrance like it seems now, or will other areas be released around those cities

Recently it crossed my mind, if Pyromancers and Aeromancers are ever released, and if they work with demesnes (which they obviously should...), what would the Pyros meld?!

Okay, Aeros can meld air (though I don't see how they would explain that a flood impedes an air-meld), but what do the Pyros meld? Only idea I remotely like is 'fire sans heat' which Gabranth suggested, but it's still kind of weird...

EDIT: Though, I suppose they could be special in that their demesnes cause passive burning damage... To add some flare to the formula.

Oh, and on-topic: What Hazar said.

Lava. It can cool enough that you can walk on it though.

Good idea, but melding cooled lava is basically the same thing as melding the earth, as cooled lava is just a new layer of the ground.
