You need to wield a silver spiderweb to use it.

Why do I need to wield it? Can't it work like soap or normal web enchants that can be worn? As it is, its useless compared to a normal jewellry enchanted with web.

I figured they'd be wielded items, so I decided not to even bid, as my enchantments with the simple 50cr runes seem better. So what if I have to recharge them every once in a long while?

Soap is pretty much a cleanse enchant, and I don't need to wield it. If this is pretty much a web enchant, you shouldn't need to wield it either.

Wand of Fire and Ice are better versions of the existing enchantments aren't they (Doesn't ice like cover all exists at once?) where as, aside from never ending which the wands are aswell, the spiderweb and fan are the same as an ordinary enchantment. They aren't really comparable if fire and ice are better than the enchantment.

Bookbinding tome is a bit different aswell.

yes, but as has been pointed out. buy a piece of jewelry, a cheap rune and effectively you have these auction only artifacts. If Fire and Ice are better than the enchantments so you can't replicate them as easily is more to my point.

EDIT: Not saying that fire and ice shouldn't be usable from inventory, just saying that the webs and fans are alot closer to being just normal enchantments than them

You cant use it like a brooch, WOW! that really sucks, glad I didn't bid on that.
But in the long run, most of those arties will end up on the market so not a big deal. I don't think the mask was worth more than a scrying stone though, but hey it was an auction.

it's also lame that the wand of ice and fire don't work indoors. Why? We can cast icewalls and firewalls indoors off the regular enchantment. That should get changed as well.
