I saw the death message that appears when a healer sacrifices themselves for someone. If it is at all possible, could we get that changed? "XPERSONX has been killed by XPERSONX" doesn't make any sense, really.

I was thinking of more along the lines of:

IF Sacrifice=$Target
Skein has died a healer's death, sacrificing herself so that Bobbin might live.

IF Sacrifice=$Area
Skein has died a healer's death, sacrificing herself so that her allies might live.

Or
IF Sacrifice=$Target
Skein has died a noble death, sacrificing herself so that Bobbin might live.

IF Sacrifice=$Area
Skein has died a noble death, sacrificing herself so that her allies might live.

umm the sacrifice messages are different. When you ally sacrifice, it looks something like So and So has sacrificed her life for her allies.

It either says the name of the region, or the name of the person.

No Marina is not talking about Sacraments/Stag sacrifice. She is talking about dying out of offering health to heal another person (either by using HEAL or FARHEAL). The message comes out as "$healer has been killed by $healer".

um actually she's talking about the old stag sacrifice which got moved to healing, which I saw her die to right before she posted this.

..Either that, or, y'know, using Farheal and dying from it. Etc.

If it is farheal, I think a less morally weighted message might be appropriate, something like

' expires as he/she is overwhelmed by wounds her/his body cannot bear.'

They are talking about any death which the Vitality aura in the Healing will prevent if active. Last time I died that way I -believe- someone told me it just gave the "oops you died somehow" message.

That and the sacrifice death message.
