Back to Ideas.

Oh well, it was just a proposition to boost HiveMind's utility. In theory, it can very easily be OP. In practice, not really (especially if we just scratch my idea and make each HM mindlink member give .1 second bonus, instead of the descending .5, .3 etc.). Except in those rare cases when we go Supernal-raiding, when there's a censorload of us... The keyword being -rare-.

Anyways, anyone have any alternate ideas? *still wants more from HiveMind*

HiveMind is fine. Lack of people to blend into one consciousness with is not the skill's fault, it's the people's fault for not playing telepath geos.

Making telepathic recovery times faster would be OP. Maybe if it gave +0.05 sec/person, and maxed out at +0.5 sec.

EDIT: But then you'd need a significant number of people for it to do anything useful, and it ALREADY is pretty useful for a significant number of people in the MindHive. As I think it was the original idea behind the skill - not a lot of bonuses from two/three people linked together, it's supposed to be a real swarm of consciousness.

*sigh* I know, I really do...

I am amused by the motion that some people have to make all skills in a set More Useful. Don't look at the skills one-by-one, look at the skillset as a whole. Even if HiveMind is limited (unless you find a lot of other telepaths to join in), Telepathy is a good skill all by itself and doesn't need buffs.

Useless skills suck. The mindset is perfectly fair.
