I am categorically not making any efforts to convert Eilar to the Wyrd.

Really.

I would not in any way be happy to have him here.

EDIT:

PS I like conversion rituals.

REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY DOESN'T WORK ON ME.

And I'm going to prove it by defecting to Glom, so there.

That part was sarcasm. See the edited PS.

I'm well aware, hence the little heart.

Also: I never knew Vira was being controlled by an Ephemeral.

I'm more worried about Magnagora than Glomdoring, at the minute. Too many idiots in high places with too much free rein. I'm fine on Iblis, but I'm tempted to move Eilar to Glomdoring, which looks a much more attractive place atm.

I agree, with you Iblikins. I have no problems with Ildaudid, but hearing people vent because a low CR thinks they have the same rank as Warlord simply because they are Ministers to something, well that is a joke.

I kill ministers for fun. I take my CDF's and am Re CF'd within an hour when we are raided and I go help clean up things these ministers can't handle.

But for the little people who are being CDF'd for not responding to tells quick enough and crap, that is retarted.

Glom is working on things I thought, so why out of the blue is this suddenly coming up?
Krellan2007-09-16 00:40:53
well there must be some progress. I definately just saw a Viravain about two hours earlier in Glom after their failed raid.
Hazar2007-09-16 00:46:01
If you say so.

Methinks the main problem is having people like Sybl/Vathael/Caedryn/Revan floating around. Sure, most of them were from the ur'guard, but the Nihilists abuse has only been toward me, the bards don't have enough members to care, and the Geomancers are controlled by Veonira, who is apparently made of happy pills these days. People who are utterly obsessed with their own power. Well, that and the little ones who expect to say whatever they like and get away with it. (Yes, I know I do that, but people expect me to screw myself over as often as is humanely possible. Much like the time I became homicidal a few nights ago at the Megalith.)

As long as those people are there, there isn't much point in trying to fix it. Not to mention the fact that while many people don't carea bout politics, if a friend asks them, they'll certainly df someone for that reason alone, true orn ot.

I have never seen that happen. I have seen CDF for killing citymates, or being cheeky to a higherup and for going against the Iron council's rulings, but not for be slow to respond.

Having read Kaervas' explanation of the idea that was presented to him and his concept of it he in NO way advocated Glom becoming another Seren.

Having read Kaervas' explanation of the idea that was presented to him and his concept of it he in NO way advocated Glom becoming another Seren.

The concept as given to us by Brennan was so horribly vague that it did indeed seem to be advocating that, and it needed clarification / work / interpretation to become something that wasn't as vague and gives a base to move off of.

Kaervas' concept off of that is a decent direction to go, but the original concept did (justifiably, I believe) raise some concerns about possible implementations and a desire to make sure that it didn't go down the "path of least resistance".

I was speaking specifically towards Kaervas' concept as referenced in the first post of this thread. Which as we both seem to agree appears to be a decent way to go and is not a copycat of Serenwilde.
Daganev2007-09-16 14:42:48
I'm not sure what exactly you are talking about, but in general, I don't really like the idea of defining yourself as the opposite of somebody else.

Join Glomdoring and find out.
Hazar2007-09-16 22:14:41
He's working on it so shush.
Unknown2007-09-16 22:24:03
I would gladly welcome that event.

Point 1: We will become like Serenwilde.
Rebuttle: Like Yeralih said, we're working on that right now. We will NOT become like Serenwilde. As of the moment, there are several several changes in progress right now. By several, I mean many. Never in my entire time here in Lusternia have I ever seen any thing indicating that Glomdoring is moving in that direction. Yes, we're warming up to each other, but we're reinforcing the "commune-ity" that Glomdoring already is.

Point 2: The Shadow Court is a friendly....
Rebuttle: There was a post made by Veyda not too long ago, addressing this very issue. As far as I know, all those in the Shadow Court are working hand-in-hand with every citizen who brings up an issue, dealing with every single thing in a precise and proficient manner. Yes, they are friendly and very professional about how they deal with situations.

Point 3: Glomdoring needs to chill.
Rebuttle: We have cookies shaped like athames. If we got any more "chill-er", we'd be penguins.

Heh, except everyone's too scared to call for audience.

It's still there, though. CHELP AUDIENCE. Might even have one some day.
Xavius2007-09-21 21:18:22
You are so not scary. We just use tells.
Hazar2007-09-21 21:20:22
Case in point - too scared to use the actual room!
